It's from japan, you roll around this ball called a Katamari and you make an even bigger one with it!

I loved the concept, but it gave me headaches like FPS's. My wife beat it though!

 

i've just heard of this game recently and really wanna get it.

For those who are as enthralled with Katamari Damacy as I, you will be ecstatic to learn that a sequel, We Love Katamari! is due out in October.

From what I read in the stores, the levels are more expansive and you can have co-op. Many more new items, new characters, new levels.

I think the game looks ridiculous. Doesn't look fun at all. I wish those inbreed halfwits over at G4 TV would **** about it.

I beat this bad one in seven days flat. Cool game. I love it when you pick up the kid in the go-kart. The noise he makes, Bam ba ba bam ba bam ba bam!

Katamari Damacy

...is the most overrated game of last year. I played a demo in BB and found it to be incredibly dull and I don't think it is worthy of any amount of my money. So what if it is weird? It's stupid that it is almost as bad as Ico in the amount of people crying about it being underrated.

 

Awesome, awesome game. Absolutely loved it and cannot wait for part 2.

I do have to agree with the Wookie on this one..

Sometimes, i COMPLETELY get what it is that's popular in Japan (Dynasty Warriors rules!), but sometimes, as is the case with Katamari Damacy, the appeal completely eludes me.

 

I heard the rave reviews on this game, then checked it out and my exact thoughts were..."WTH? "

What's the deal?

 

I read the interview with the guy who created the game.

Get this.

He is an artist and he hates video games. He thinks they are a waste of time and don't do anything for enriching the human mind.

But this company offered him money, which he needed, for design work and they wanted him to create a game and he decided to go with this kooky concept we have today. And the interview is pretty funny, cause he still feels the same way about video games but as he said, this is the most bareable concept he could come up with for himself.

No. It boring as heck. I've never actually gotten bored of a demo before getting getting embarrassed of my poor public playing skills before this game.

 

I think the game is worth buying, it's very addicting and quite fun. However, some of the levels are very hard and annoying. Damn bears.

 

is We Love Katamari out yet?

 

I think the concept's neat and I have hear it was quite addictive. I have been thinking about purchasing this game.
