awww I haven't had a sno cone since.... oooh I actually had one last summer, you just reminded me. But before that, it was a while.

 

We had them for our company picnic last year. When I made them, I got a little carried away with the syrup. I liked them really sweet.

I love a ton of the syrup on my sno cones. They just taste better that way.

Has anyone heard of Kettle Corn or is that just a West Coast thing?

 

MMMmmm, kettle corn. The last time I went to the zoo a few months ago, they had a kettle corn stand, you could smell it all over the zoo. It was a nice change from smelling lion poop.

Anyways, yes, we have kettle corn everywhere here. You can even buy microwave kettle corn, though it seems calling a microwave a kettle is a bit of a stretch.

Oh yeah, Kate, they still sell those Snoopy sno cone machines. They have them at Amazon even I may get one for myself and these hot Texas summers.

Yeah, Kettle Corn is one of those things that is the perfect mix of sweet and salty foods. I'm a popcorn lover anyway and that stuff is just addicting.

Ok, Kate, now here's a request for you. What I want is a version of Beauty and the Beast edited with Rocky Horror-like commands to the audience. Example: when Belle's dad exclaims 'A horrible, monstorous beast!' everyone in the audience will be instructed to shout back, "How horrible was it?!" in true Match Game style. So how bout it, ringmaster?

 

Match Game style? Are we talking about the 70s match game style, when the host had that creepy skinny microphone with the little bulb on the end, or the re-vamped 90s Match Game that featured permanant fixtures Jm J. Bullock, Nell Carter, and George Hamilton?

 

Either Match Game version is seriously scary.

I think you're right, Kas. I've always associated that type of microphone with Wink Martindale. I think Bob Barker is keen, so maybe I'm not so freaked out by the microphone as I am by the name "Wink".

 

I'm more freaked out to know how he got the name "Wink".
