I've been quiet about this in public because I have a son who is around the same age as Katie and I can not get my head around the fact that I don't know what I would do if this was happening to my own child.


I only pray she doesn't suffer.

By the gods she's an amazing little girl which makes everything all the more sad

I have to say this about Katie. She's a stronger willed person than I am. God bless her for her tenacity.

Don't forget about the steely resolve to keep fighting that Al, Kathy, and the rest of the family has shown.

I just wish there was more I can do to help them. Since cash is a issue for me these days, all I have been able to do is help raise money at CIII, make some certificates for the girls and every time I see Albin & Kathy, give them a hug and talk to them.


It sucks feeling helpless and I have no idea what they are all going through.


Of course I'll be handing over the kisses to you Joe to send down, but I just wish I could do something more.

 

Even the smallest of contributions can make the biggest difference to someone.....showing them you care no matter how little or how much money you have given is the greatest thing you or anyone else can do.....In everyone's heart everyone wishes Katie and her family all of their love from their hearts.......and I am sure they appreciate this

God bless Katie.......she is a charismatic young lady n a young lady her parents should be proud of.

i have kids around the same age as Katie, (mine are aged 5, 8 and 11) and i cannot imagine what her parents are going through. i haven`t posted in this thread as i have struggled to come up with the right words. i am still struggling but i feel i have to show my support in any way that i can.

God bless Katie. my thoughts and prayers are with her and her parents.

 

She is a true inspiration to us all. I only pray that if I ever went through something this bad I could be as strong as both her and her family.

Hopefully she will get the flag sometime very soon

I just wanted to thank you all for everything that you have said and done. Joe is right even the small stuff like a hug is what we need. Katie got her Flag and pic and has put it up in her room. She is very sick right now and it is hard for her to show how excited she is but I know she loved it.
