I want all my fellow Kansas Cityians to post their fav restaurants, clubs and sites to see.

My favorite restaurant in KC has got to be V's Italian rest. It's about $12-15 a plate in the evening but it's really good! (I worked the in HS and it's a great place for a date)

Hello, Tenorjedi! Is that your singing voice?

The Genghis visited the other thread and spoke about restaurants. He doesn't have many restaurants he likes. The Genghis likes GoJo, McCoy's Public House, D'Bronx, Jerusalem Cafe', Mario's, Jazz, & Gates. The Genghis has many restaurants he enjoys.

As far as nightclubs, the Genghis has two favorites, XO Club, the Hurricane, and

    Two favorites.

I like Ghengis Khan's Monglean BBQ. Awesome place. I can't eat there too often though.

I usually end up at Chipotle on 39th. Love those Steak Burritos. I guess they are out of CO. though.

First Watch is good for breakfast, after a night on the town.

Standard BBQ. I like Santa Fe BBQ out in Olathe.

Tons more, but I can't list them all here.

I had forgot about Jazz. Great for Stuffed Catfish and Oyster's on the half shell.

    Now, I'm getting hungry.

Chipotle home of the uber-burrito (uburrito?)
    Bell St. Mama's awesome breakfast
    Muddy's (ditto)
    D'Bronx their lasagna RULES!
    Genghis Khan
Jazz it don' get bettah den dis!

I love living in that neighborhood!

I finally ate at Cheesecake Factory! Plus, my current girlfriend got to meet my ex-girlfriend who's a server there. She "comped" our meal.

I tried to eat at PF Chang's last night. HA! On Valentine's Day?? They don't take reservations for 2 (grrrr....) and by the time we got there, the wait was like 3 hours! :-[ So we went up the street to Canyon Cafe. We saw "Stomp" last night at the Music Hall downtown. AWESOME!!

Don't forget the revolving restaurant. They have the best shrimp bisque I've ever had.

I have lived in this area for about a year and a half now.
I love Salty Iguanas! Their Iguana Dip is out of this world! Their cheeseburgers are great too!
My friends love Mexican food, I don't. So it pleases us all!
I normally go to the one on Mission Road.
    Try it!

Best Mexican - Panzon's on 87th in Lenexa - always packed, best salsa in town.

Best nightclub or bar is a toss up - Blaney's in Westport or The Levee. Honorable mention goes to Harpo's for their drink The Hammer. (I could do without the wall to wall frat guys)
