Choad and Void are off to some interviews for a company not far from where darth husband works, that has some openings.. which is pretty ideal, especially for void. So keep your fingers crossed for them.

 

I'm holding my breath . . . please let me know when I can breath again.

 

My eyes are always crossed but I will direct my odd gaze in there direction.

Anything? Anything? HMMMMMmmmmm???

 

We'll find out in a bit, it works like this.

We interview and get approved to be put into a pool. @ Wire then calls and says "we're starting a class, send us 30 from the pool" and bammo we start earning money. They're starting at least 2 classes in february and the first one will be about 40 people I was told. The recruiter was looking for ANYBODY else Choad knew when he talked to him so that tells me that they don't have enough for the contract and we have a good chance of being in the first group. Only about 5 people had interviewed yesterday before us. (Of course don't know any others) Apparently there are several ex-Cable One people there too.

Ok, this other company, wants me to come work for them doing tech support - and they want me to start tomorrow... so... I'm gonna...

The flip side of that, is that if/when we get offers for 2wire, I'm going to drop these people like a hot potato...
