Chic, IL Kessel Run Chicago style - June 27, 2009

Welcome to the Chicago Force edition of the Kessel Run.

This is a combination of trivia and scavenger hunt. It will take place Saturday, June 27, 2009, beginning at 3:15 p.m. (immediately following Book Club). The starting point will be the 3rd floor of the Border?s at State and Randolph.

Groups of 2 to 4 participants will be placed on teams and given a series of 8 puzzles. The answers to these puzzles will lead to a specific object or location. The Team will then need to photograph a team member in that location or with that object.

The puzzles are all Star Wars based. Some are very challenging. But, this is meant to be fun, not maddening, so Team members may use any resource to find the answers ? including non-team members, reference books, the internet, etc.

The photos must be in the order of the puzzles on a single Team member?s digital camera or cell phone.

The first Team to finish with all the photos in the correct order wins!

After all the Teams finish we will go off to lunch/dinner nearby to compare answers, photos and stories.

So either pick your Team, or just show up for the fun.

You do not have to have a "team" just show up and join the fun. All you need is your personal encyclopedic knowledge of everything Star Wars!

By the way - this is a race. First team to finish is the WINNER!

Dudes! That was lots of fun. Great to see you all again. I think that was my first CF meeting in nearly... Two years!

We should try and create a fresh set of puzzles, and do this again next year!
