Full Series Ketsu Onyo

Umm, maybe because I'm not a native speaker, I hear "Ketsu" instead od "Tetsu". And "Ketsu" was one of the music pieces on Soundcloud playlist.

I guess they don't know that in Japanese ketsu, among other things, means err... buttocks.

 

Any closed captioning on the trailers?

 

I had a Hot Dog from a 'Japanese' food stall, which was called a fundoshi. Upon arriving in Japan i soon learn that a fundoshi is the banana hammock that Sumo wrestlers wear. How i laughed. and cried.

 

Re watching it, it sounds like Ketsu and not Tetsu.

Anyone now what Ketsu is in any eastern language?

 

From that preview she looks badass wiping out those stormtroopers. Can't wait to see Ketsu(?) in action next week.

 

Wiping out Stormtroopers left and right does not take much effort.

But it looks like it could be a pretty good episode.

 

I really like they are using Japanese names and of course blood sister doesn't necessarily means they are related.

Anyway, it'd be cool to see a mandalorian bounty hunter and to learn more about Sabine.

In the season 2 trailer sabine mentioned something about "House Vizsla" and that she was going to do simple combat with someone which is known from TCW (RIP Pre Vizsla), hopefully we get to see some of that.

 

The previous title was new bounty hunter in Rebels.

That would be a nice callback. I'm also curious as to what she learned about Death Watch and Maul (if she did at all) from any family or clan members she might have know before she went to the academy.

I'm also wondering how Sabine and Ketsu know each other?

 

I've never had that much interest in the mandalorians in either the EU or the new-canon versions for that matter (aside from the Fett's who have been retconned into not being mandos for whatever dumb reason) , so I hope this plot line doesn't take up too much time. However if this can develop Sabine into a more interesting character i'm all for it.

 

For all we know Ketsu Onyo could mean Blood Sister in Mando or something along those lines

 

Well, we know she'll be a problem for Sabine judging by the Season 2 trailer.

 

Hope she's not a Shih Tzu Yoyo.

 

This thread would be great if we could speculate freely, guess we have to wait til the season is over to do so.

 

Bit of a weird name IMO but w/e, Sabine looks slightly Asian so if Ketsu is too then that would make sense.

Not sure why she bothers with a glaive if she's a modern-day Mando. Randy could wield one but that was because Randy was jacked AF and high on Nightsister magicks.

 

I didn't even think Sabine was a human when I first saw her, her skin looked a little too gold/yellow for a human.

Then again, it is a cartoon.

 

I thought she look Maori or Polynesian similar to Jango.

Well we saw her without her mask in a commercial and she had way darker skin then Sabine did. The video should be on the last two pages.

But I think this puts to rest that she is Sabines sister unless she is her half sister.

No but seriously I think it's great. And yeah I don't believe she's her sister anymore. But at least we know she and Sabine were old 'friends'.
