Very nice work. I tried to do some modeling with my Bryce 5.5. That program really isn't made for modeling. What a pain in the butt. Great job with your fighter!

Hello Kev-Mas_Colcha, and welcome to Fan Art! Your heavy interceptor looks awesome-cool: loving the foil shape and the "mottling" you have in the structure. Did you make up the emblem on the foils, or is that actually the GA symbol (which I wouldn't know either way, lol!)? In any case, it's a great looking ship! The sabers look good too--wonderful work, and we're glad to have you in the "community!"

I made up the GA (Grey Avengers), so, yes, I made up the symbol.

As of now, I am batch rendering an animation of the ship firing its Light Turbolaser Cannons, opening up its S-Foils, and firing the concealed Dual Ion Cannon Turrets, which were concealed under the S-Foils.

 

Very nice. I agree with Falcon, the starfighter looks very nice and as for the lightsaber, I love the glow!

 

Yeah, I worked on the Lightsaber glow for months, until I finally found one that looked like the movie effect.

 

Was it on Photoshop?

 

No, it was actually in the 3D Program itself, Maya 7.0.

Very nice. I do think some shadowing would help make him stand out a bit, he looks a bit flat. But overall it is a great drawing!

Well, afaik, the Clone Wars Cartoons didn't have much in the way of that.

Here's an updated version. I fixed the hands, and made him hold the sabers right.

 

Kev-Mas is right: the actual CW cartoons had virtually no shadowing in them, just like this. As an artistic choice, though, it might add some depth to your work to do some very basic shading, K-M--nothing too complicated, just to show some volume to the figures--consider it!

I very much like the clean lines and coloring of your latest piece--excellent duplication of the CW style. A very nice piece!

Great work! I really like the ship, it's sortof reminiscent of Anakins, at least to this warped mind.

And great job with the character, amazing detail in it!

 

Here's an Updated Version of the ship, firing its Lasers.

 

Very cool! Love the firing effect/animation! And see? The shading gives a lot more "space" to the subject (whatever it is!), making it more solid in the piece! Wonderful ship, and a great view of it!

Yeah, and I think I might start taking requests for Clone Wars Custom Characters from people. Would anyone know where I could do that on these boards?

Yeah, I did, except the materials were made from 3D Textures that I altered.

Very nice character design, K-M-C! I like the lightsabers and the costume design--I think if you added in more highlights on those robes (just some reflected saber glow on some of the "advancing" pieces of clothing) it would give a lot more depth to it--give it more "volume" and "space." The colors are sumptuous--the black and red are a great combination for a Darth, for sure, and this fellow has an appropriately Sith-type expression on his face (particularly considering he's wielding two weapons here! )! Very nice!

Yeah, but, even though he looks like a Sith, he's actually a Grey Jedi.

 

I like the clone-wars look of Kev-Mas. I didn't see the shaded version yet---My IE window couldn't open the last link of the ship, but I liked the thumbnail pic I saw of it

There's something appealing about the simplicity of the non-shaded animated look--hard to describe what it is...

 

On the Clone Wars style Jedi: I've never seen the cartoon, but I like the way you shade. However, I must point out that the right hand looks rather twisted and unnatural, but perhaps it's just me.
