Kevin Smith

Just wondering. Did anybody else notice him wandering around Exhibit Hall D this weekend at Celebration II.

By the way, he'll be hosting a show on the Sci-fi channel showcasing the winners of the fan films that were shown at the celebration.

Perhaps you saw someone in a Kevin Smith costume? I saw someone wearing one on Saturday, I believe it was Obi-Wannabe.

 

The only Kevin Smiths I saw there were people in costume.
Kevin Smith doesn't usually show up to conventions dressed as Silent Bob.

Oh yeah... Obi-Wannabe was an awesome Kevin Smith.

 

I saw a guy that looked like him, but that wasnt him.

 

That was funny, I should have taken his picture! lol

 

Actually, I heard that he was there through some of the other volunteer staff. He had his glasses on and a baseball cap. I personally didn't see him, but would have loved to.

 

Some people mentioned to me on Saturday that he was there, but it was never confirmed.

I was actually surprised at all the people who thought I was him, I was the slimmest of the 4 Silent Bob's there that weekend. That and the fact that people would think he would be there as SB?

Thanks for the compliments, I had a blast doing it, I had only done SB at Halloween parties, never in public with people psyched to see the character, what a rush!

LOL I saw Obi-Wannabe too. I saw noone I recogized from here except a friend of mine who I met up w/there (she's awesome!). When I saw you I had to blink and then move as fast as I could so I didnt get swept w/the crowd.

 

I checked Kevin's new site, www.newsaskew.com, and there was no mention of him attending. I also posed this question to his message boards, the one legit responce I got stated his doubts Kevin was there.
