When I´m animating and effect on a movieclip, I don´t want the effect to be visible in all the frames. For example from frame 00:07:01 it should be visible and then from frame 00:07:09 it should be invisible and so on...
How is it possible to do that?

Your knowledge of that several-hundred dollar program that you surely bought amazes me. I can't believe Adobe didn't include a manual for you to read!

You get this one for free. After this, I send you an invoice. Someone's gotta make some money off of this.

    One word. Opacity.

Opacity doesn't work as well as just shortening the bar for the layer in the Comp window. Because even when the opacity is 0%, AE is still processing it each frame which will take more time to export.

SilverFox, while your comment was rather, ahem, harsh, i believe you captured a valid point very efficently. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but if you bought the software, and have amanual, you could figure this out in two minutes, TJ.
