Throughout the entire PT, Ki-Adi-Mundi has voice of a wizened old man, with a British accent. However, just before he's killed by Order 66, when he yells "Come on!" to rally his troops, he sound like a much more robust, younger man, and with an American accent. Anyone else notice this?

nope......if anything....the biggest error in ki adi's voice happened with his one line in Episode 2, that sounds nothing like the character's voice from episodes 1 and 3. The voice from Episode 1 matches the voice from Episode 3 but that one episode 2 line is either

    a) horribly delivered by Silas

    b) recorded by another actor

Maybe it was just the fact that he was in the heat of battle and with all the explosions going on and such it came out that way.

Sorry, thought I was on the Matrix boards for a second there. Not that I've been there, because I haven't:mad:

    Are there any Matrix boards?face_wink]

I actually thought his voice was fairly consistent through all three prequels, or at least not different enough to be overly noticable. The "Come on!" sounding funny can be explained by the hazy, almost trancelike way the whole Order 66 sequence was presented it. That's why it sounds a bit funky, IMO.

I totally agree with Qui-Gon-Kim, i noticed it too and it always bothers me, it sounds NOTHING like ep1 and 2! sure its the heat of battle but he sounds like an american teenager rather than a middle aged european/british (wtv u wanna say) accent!

A good explaination. I too thought his voice sounded consistent through Ep I-III. Only the "Come On!" caught me a little. Though, I wouldn't say he sounded like a teenager, he sounded more like a American general of the same age as Ki-Adi would be with a British accent.

He sounds exactly like Ki-Adi-Mundi to me.

LOL... Me and a friend were making fun of this very scene the other day... we were immitating Ki-Adi's voice (always a good way to pass the time), and we realized that Ki's voice sounded deeper before he died. So we wasted about 5 minutes immitating him saying "Come on" for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Your shouting voice can sound very different from your speaking voice, hence why "Come on!" sounds deeper than normal.

I didn't notice any difference because I don't give two cents about that extremely unimportant Nad-head Jedi.

Does it matter? The voice sounded corageous, heroic, necessary.

We don't need to resort to insulting the topic, but I do think we're bordering on nit-picking here.

I agree with the Gunslinger on this issue. With his grand total of 10 words in all three films, Ki-Adi Mundi sounds the same to me.

To his defense, the films were recorded years apart and we sound differently as we grow older and day-to-day.

He also says another line in ep III:

" What about teh droid attack on the wookies"?
    and
"If he does not lay down his powers when generral grievous is destroyed than he should eb removed from office"
