but I only ended up with a bit of a head cold.

it cleared up pretty quickly

 

I had the flu followed up by a secondary infection in my throat.

It was fun, going around with a hoarse voice and no sore throat

 

I had something like that a few years ago. Felt fine but my voice was shot to hell
