"Kind, but sad." What did Luke and Leia inherit from their mother?

I agree. I think Luke inherited that inner strength that enables him to resist the Dark side from Padme. I wonder if that's why he suddenly thinks of her when he's on Endor. As if wondering if she gave him something that makes him stronger than his father.

 

I think Leia got Padme's common sense and political/diplomatic savvy, but Luke and his mother share a gentleness and compassion.
