I think part of what made the B&W version of the pilot work so well was because of Frank Darabont. It's nice to see that they are continuing with it. I just wish they were on the Blu-Rays! He's talking about The Mist here but a lot of what he says applies to The Walking Dead as well.
Just finished watching the whole series on Netflix and iTunes. Completely cracked out. Reading back on the thread, I have two main thoughts: 1.) I have enjoyed season 2 the most this far, so I was surprised, at first, to see that it actually disappointed fans, which brings me to 2.) I think my enjoyment and satisfaction with the show has benefitted from watching it all in one go. It's harder for a show to be more satisfying if you're waiting a week(s) or months in between episodes. I also have not read the comics, either, so there's that.
I know the mantra of the franchise is that "No one is safe" but I didn't think that extended to showrunners as well.
4 Walking Dead actors will be at Phoenix Comicon this year. Merle, Carl, Andrea, and Michonne will all be there! I can't wait! Also, I should probably learn their real names...
At least remember Michael Rooker's name. Besides Norman Reedus, he's the only actor's name worth knowing. And maybe Steven Yeun's too.
I know Sarah Wayne Callies' (Lori) name because of Prison Break and I remember Andrew Lincoln's (Rick) name because he's a Brit with a famous American last name. I also know IronE Singleton's (T-Dog) name because you don't forget the name IronE. I'm not sure if it's pronounced Iron-E or Irony though.
Speaking of Steven Yeun, he's going to be on Craig Ferguson's late night show tomorrow night/Saturday morning at 12:35am And yes, @Spider-Fan, you got Laurie Holden's name right.
I liked that Super Bowl ad with Daryl. Pretty funny. Gonna be interesting to see what happens to the brothers Dixon.
Pretty pumped for tonight. My guess as to who dies next is Marshall. He has kind of served his purpose.
I tried to watch a few episodes of the WD marathon today, but I got bored away. As much as I enjoyed the season, this stuff is not very re-watchable.
The truck full of walkers was pretty cool. It was a neat use of a bread truck, nice tactic. I believe we saw Meryl become less of a douche tonight. Good episode.
