Amph The Walking Dead and Spinoffs on AMC

Up until the last ten minutes that episode was kinda rubbish (apart from Merle and Daryl on the bridge). But boy, what an ending!

Hopefully this is enough to wake Rick out of his catatonia/insanity, though judging by the promo it's unlikely.

 

Axel was on borrowed time. Throw away character. his death was destined to happen the minute he walked on screen. At least the guy playing him gave a good performance.

 

Aye, but still it was pretty brutal.

I'm wondering where Tyreese's group has got to. I know Glenn beckoned them to leave after Rick's breakdown at the end of the previous episode, but I took it to mean the room not the whole damned prison.

 

This. Was that really all they are doing with Tyrese? What a total waste.

 

I hope not, he's the yin to Rick's yang in the comics. Finally a friend for crazy ass Rick.

I feel like the only reason the zombie truck was at all useful was because there was a cripple out in the yard. Both legs? Zombie truck useless. No one in the field? Useless.

The amount of work that would have to go into gathering up those zombies and stuffing them into the truck couldn't possibly be worth it.

 

I thought they were all going to escape in that one truck. I was worried about the Hyundai.

 

but they now have that pristine looking Dodge Ram to roll in

I really hope we get Rick "two guys walk into a bar--and I SHOT THEM!" back. Psycho Rick makes me feel like he's going to die

 

Why did Andrea go to the prison? Why did the Governor let her? I don't get it. And they don't come up with a strategy for a treaty of any sort while she was there? Idiots. Here's your window of opportunity and they didn't come up with ANYTHING! Why? Andrea could have been a diplomat to not only save her old friends but also protect her new ones, but she didn't do ****. She does decide to do Carol's half baked plan, which we knew as an audience was something that wasn't going to happen. Wow.

 

TiniTinyTony I feel like it was a test. Can he trust her kind of thing. It was win/win for him. One if she died in the red zone fine, if she came back with info on RIck's group than awesome too. I think it was pretty clear from the get go that Rick and the gang was not having it. There was no chance of a treaty.

 

I never thought I would say this, but Carol is quickly becoming one of may favorite characters. Shame Andrea was too cowardly/stupid to follow through on Carol's suggestion.

Best episode in a long time. Maybe the best episode since the pilot.

 

I agree this was a very good episode. The character driven ones are usually my favorites.

 

Andrea has been annoying since she first appeared on screen.

 

It's nice to see Rick admit that he's gone bonkers. And that he's finally starting to trust Michonne.

 

Yeah, that episode was amazing. First time I've liked Michonne since her introduction as well.

 

I especially enjoyed the "Look a zombie, go kill it with your sword Michonne" mentality that seems to have begun.

 

I guess the crazy michonne talking to herself bit will only be played as a prior to the group thing.
