Wow. That was amazing.

I think there may have been some trailer trickery in there though, with the implication that Gareth is going with them to D.C., cause I just don't see that happening.

I think the most interesting part was the fact that it looks like Beth is having her own separate storyline from the rest of the group in another crazy settlement. Interesting choice. Wonder how that will pan out for her.

 

Yeah, that little tease at the end with Beth is very intriguing. Well, so was the whole trailer, really.

Which means he at least doesn't there, as they would definitely keep that as secret as possible.

As much as the Terminus storyline looks interesting, I can't wait to see our whole gang surviving on the road. It's something I never really thought the budget would allow in this show, but it seems like we're finally getting it.

I agree with The_Forgotten_Jedi in that I feel there's trailer trickery going on here. The character of Gareth has been upgraded to a main cast member, but something felt off. Regardless, Season 5 looks great from this trailer.

In the trailer, it shows Glenn on his knees and a guy ready to swing at his head, which is apparently the same way he dies in the comics

 

Different storyline, different people. Context I think was what did it.

 

And they wouldn't show a main character die in the trailer.

There's no way they kill Glenn and then still agree to go to Washington with Gareth. And the only disquiet being that Rick doesn't trust Gareth. They'd be more dramatic than that.

Yes! If any time AMC could have allowed one swear, it should have been that line. I mean, let's face it, it's rather preposterous that The Walking Dead of all things isn't allowed to swear. The source material contains Negan for ****'s sake (that this thread is censored is also censored is just as dumb).

I wonder if any part of the 16 million viewerbase would actually be affected by swearing, and not by seeing one of the kindest, most caring characters in the show get their head severed from their neck?

 

Decapitations? Fine.
Rotting Flesh? Sure.
People being fed upon by Zombies? Why not.
Zombies being exploded/crushed/impaled/shot? Of course.
Someone dropping the F-bomb? Let's Burn AMC to the GROUND!

 

Yeah, I agree. It seems kind of rediculous that these characters wouldn't drop a swear word or two (especially an f-bomb) in the situations they've been in.

 

I would love it if they use that ending on the DVD rather than the broadcast one.

 

We'll likely see it either way, either as a part of the episode itself, or on the deleted scenes section.

 

Hate how they sensor the F word but it was alright for Merle to say the N word back in S1
