I don't think a cause of the virus in the comics (unless you count Rick's dream)

 

I think those questions get into spoiler territory which they seem to be sticking to in the show. Best to just wait it out.

 

If they're going down the virus route, I demand B.O.W's and eventually a tyrant.

With the tag of hunt or be hunted I'm hoping for some of those frog things

 

I think what Eugene was saying was that he has access to a global dispersal system that could be used to kill all the walkers at once through the use of some kind of virus.

 

In retrospect, I think Shane was too much of a *****, a fluffy marshmallow not fit for survival in this harsh new world. Roving gangs of anarchists and cannibal fortress meat processing facilities would have made Shane curl up in a ball and whimper.

 

I have to conclude that being an abused spouse and losing her only child to the zombie plague and being kicked out of the group for committing murder has really been good for Carol's personal growth.

 

You forgot murdering a child.

 

Anyone else think Eugene is making it up so people will protect him as he obviously couldn't survive alone?

 

So is this the end of the cannibal arc? Disappointed we didn't get the "tainted meat!" moment from the comic. Even without it though, this was probably the best episode since the Season 1.

100 percent. It was exciting and the narrative moved along at a steady pace. Walking Dead is at it's best when it does that and at it's worst the latter half of season 4 when everyone just walked through the woods for episodes on end.

 

It's been fun to watch Carol go from whimpering beaten wife to whatever that was last night.

 

She's the Terminator: "Come with me if you want to live."

 

Loved the episode. But seemed more like a season finale than an season opener.

 

So apparently the blonde dude who was the first to get killed by the Termites was the stupid hippy from last season who Rick gave his watch to.

Maybe the Termites aren't that bad after all...

 

This episode (whilst great) also suffered from the worst VFX shot since the series began. After they are all rescued from the container and go on a walker killing spree, Michone sticks a sword through a walker's head and the protruding blade stays still whilst the walkers head is moving all over the place

 

It has some competition. The CDC explosion.

 

I think that is still going to happen. We never actually saw Gareth get killed. I'm thinking he and some other Terminus survivors will escape and follow Rick's group, leading to some of the moments from the "Fear the Hunters" arc, and I bet Bob will substitute Dale's role.

My two favorite quotes from Rick last night. Also liked the part when he got behind the one guy and took his gun and mowed down those people right in the back!
Loved the fact that he wanted to get the hidden guns and go back inside and finish them all off. Don't **** with officer friendly!!!

 

Carol is the female version of Rambo.

The guy with the tattooed face will have backstory to it in the future and that he may have connections to another group of crazies

I would have preferred Carol shoot the firework at the thing with a bow and arrow rather than do what she did.
