It's actually a problem exporting back out to the digibeta. I mixed everything at 30fps, but the digi will only sync up at 29.97. We tried outputting the audio at 29.97 but it didn't make a difference.

I think we're going to have to record the audio to DAT and then output it through the telecine.

We'll figure it out though

Not trying to sound rude but weren't there hints at a release for this weekend? If it's finished and ready why would TFN hold off on a release for another week or so?

You guys did a great job just getting it finished, but the jones factor is going through the roof now...

 

I don't think TFN has it yet. He just said something about digitizing it, and then he will send it to Azeem for compression. They aren't just holding out.

 

Yeah, they said they should be doing the compression and everything this past Mon/Tues, but what was going to be done then, is now gonna be done sometime next week or so I think. So it's probably not in TFN's hands yet...

i think a fanfilm should be made about the making of KQ... that's a saga in itself, to be sure! glad you guys made it to the finals, and i look forward to watching it...

I'm sorry it wasn't ready this week. BUT, the guy that was supposed to color correct it last weekend had an emergency and had to cancel. That's why we did it last night.

I am still here at work digitizing the footage. In the last two days I've had 3 hours of sleep. I probably won't go to bed until 3am this morning. I have a feeling the next few days will be like that. But I am working on it.

And yes...hell has frozen over.

I tried skiing once, and I suck at it.

Heck, I'm Australian, I'm a desrt person. I'm not used to snow. But since hell is warm, I can handle that!

BTW, congratulations Joe on 3 years of hard yacka. I truly hope the film pays off for you, and you have the best of luck on future projects...

Suprised Joe has not posted yet, but KnightQuest is 100% finished. The audio was fixed and layed off yesterday and will be sent to Azeem today for compression. Since most of you have stood by us through all the BS, thought you deserved to know.
