My October is SET! One horror movie every night for every 31 days, the first week is a nightmare on elm street week! The only issue is some films are harder to get than others, looking at you hammer horror Dracula and Frankenstein films! SERIOUSLY, 50$ FOR A USED COPY OF DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITION CUZ THE BLOODY THING IS OUT OF PRINT, ALSO NO DIGITAL!!! BEING AN AMERICAN HORROR FILM FAN SUCKS!!!!!!!1

You are kidding me, right? That is one of the most common, benign "bad words" you could possibly say, it's not even a "bad word".

 

That's very true, but we are a family oriented board (i.e. we have members still in junior high).

 

How would that disturb the familiyness of the board?

Most people don't even think about the hidden context of the idiom, they just use it to represent a dislike for something. Even so, kids hear "bad words" all the time, tv, books, movies, and of course, school itself. Kids use that language all the time as a result, it doesn't corrupt them or destroy their little minds, I think kids are smarter than society gives them credit for. The only reason kids use words we have deemed bad so much is because we have deemed them bad, if we didn't make such a big deal about it and treated kids like they are smart, then kids would most likely not use such language so often, but it doesn't harm them if they hear it.

 

I highly doubt that word would offend anyone, Nehru. And if it did it would be up to the mods to decide if it would need to be censored...

 

Okay, I was just covering my bases.
