Someday we should get this entire Sith band together and play some of JW's music from the films!

 

I play piano currently. I remember when I was in 3rd grade and we were going around trying to find a second instrument for me to play because each kids got a chance to play two and I tried the flute at the music store. I somehow sounded like a walrus...

 

You know...they don't show a lot of instruments in Star Wars. Is it because they don't want it to look too earth-like?

An interesting question brought up in the Conversation (but don't want to clog that up with general discussion stuff). How do you deal with stuff you shouldn't know? Do you not read posts in which you're not tagged? Or, do you just disregard someone else's posts (or try to, at least)? How do you not know what you're not supposed to know?

For me, Vader lives, defeats the Emperor, and kills everyone else.

The Empire reigns supreme for all eternity.

 

Grievous lives. Kenobi dies in his place because the good General kicks him off the ledge. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

That certainly would have been interesting. Quite funny, too, when I think of it.

 

Honestly, I'd just get rid of the cutsie characters that have no use. Binks in particular. I can even deal with the Ewoks in a way. That Gungan, though... gotta go.

 

Unless he's a Sith, though. That would change everything.

jk. I get what you're saying. I could have done without him, too. I'm not sure why they did that. Well, I know why, I just don't know why they couldn't do better.

 

They could have. Case in point: Nien Nunb. There's a character that's similarly unusual and actually did his job (twice) and added a really interesting twist on the saga (used a real, African language translated).

 

Actually, if Grievous absolutely had to die, he could have gone out with a more honorable death. I mean, getting killed by Kenobi was bad enough without giving him death by his own blaster. Incineration from the inside out was just sadistic; like the guy's entire life didn't suck enough. *rant over...maybe*

 

That Zam Wesell and Boba Fett survive to kill some Jedi scum.

If we're talking strictly the films... am I the only one that wouldn't change a thing?

Sure you could remove this person or make that character live, tweak the CGI, etc etc. But what may be considered small could have a huge ripple effect over the whole saga and change the whole tone. IDK, not to get all serious but I'd leave everything just as it is.

 

Even Grievous dying by his own weapon fired by Kenobi???

I agree that that was quite harsh. He was set up as an "evil" character in the movie. It also set up OB1 to say "So uncivilized." to tie the PT in with OB1 in the OT. Could've happened to someone else, but that line, IMO, needed to be said.
