IMO, the reason we ask people to use the same TFN screename (or a close version of it) is to avoid people using several identities. Once you can put a "face" with the screename...it's easier to trust who is posting on our boards. But we have to make people feel welcome to join in.

Don is the CR...so this is his call to make.

In the case of the general, the ice was cracking under his feet earlier this week. We'd lost a friend, and days later have to deal with this childish nonsense. I banned MS at the request of Anrev, does this general need the same?

The General does not intend on baiting, flaming, or posting anything offensive. Therefore, per DonC's policy, the General is permitted to post, so long as he does not irk other posters. And the General will not irk other posters (the General has read the TOS), so he should be allowed to post as he pleases.
