This is going to be one crazy LSD trip. I mean LDS trip. I mean a trip involving a member of LDS. I mean...I'm not sure what I mean.

Is KK even LDS. I think he is. I suppose it is not important.

Yes, I am, and I used to be one of those guys up in the banner with the white shirts and nametags.

If I had another companion intruder, we could sit down and have a nice discussion. :p

Can we use our points to become manager for a week, there are a few people around i need to verbally bitch slap and having a massive font size would work nicely.

Besides, if everyone used it, it would lose its impact real quick.

Of course, you can always contact me, and I'll slap them around if they need it. If not, I'll slap you around.

I assume he likes General Veers.
That guy was once good but now is bantha foodler.
Salacious Crumb would have a field day with him.

Richard, pleasure to see you here. You're the first decent intruder we've had since this thing started. I had the feeling you'd be in this in some shape or form before this thing was over. ;)

You assume wrong. I picked my icon because it looks the closest to the greatest hero in the history of Sci-Fi.

Kimball Kinnison is the Second-Stage, Gray Lensman who, almost single-handedly, defeated the forces of Boskone and slayed the second strongest Eddorian, Gharlane. For more details, go look up the Lensman series, by E. E. "Doc" Smith, the father of Space Opera.

Lucas actually stole many of his ideas about the Jedi from the Lensmen.

Yeah I have heard of Lensmen but have never found it.

Lucas also stole ideas from the genius of Isaac Asimov.

God you just had to get him started on the lens men.

Lets change the subject or he'll be yaking all night about campy sci fi no one cares about but him and several old codgers who wear their old costumes around the retirement homes.

So KK... do you like... stuff?

Thanks. I also plan to be quite successful. You see, as an admin, I could, hypothetically speaking, log into each of your accounts and force you to post in another forum. If course, that's all hypothetical, but if you want to make sure that I don't test that hypothesis, you are free to send me appropriate insults to my honor*.

I see that no one questioned the aparent genius of Asimov.

I see that no one questioned the aparent genius of Asimov.

That's because Asimov is a talentless hack, who's only major claim to fame is the quantity he wrote, rather than the quality. :p

Or, it could be the fact that he was paid by the word, and wanted to get his money's worth. (I have a fairly large collection of Asimov, but he doesn't compare to Heinlein or Smith.)

Woah, hold it scooter. I'm fully aware that your empty threats will never come into action. You see, i'm not the one you're looking for. I believe that's ApolloSmileGirl that stole your corset. Makes sense, no?

I don't know how you can read Asimov and say that.
How could they promote someone to the position you currently hold when you don't fully understand what is good SF.

If you have read Reason or The Caves of Steel or Foundation's Edge and you can still say what you said. I don't understand that.
