Bad Sith, bad!!!

 

THis is killing me. My scout trooper Koto should be coming in any day now. I am not very patient. I just ordered the Boba Fett koto a mere 4 minutes ago.

I'll put up some pics of mine later. I had hoped to add the 501st trooper to my collection, but money had to go elsewhere at the last minute. If it's there next week on payday it's mine, but I doubt it'll be there. Last time they had some in they sold all three in half an hour.

 

^You should try Ebay for the 501st. I got a 501st a few months ago under 70 bucks.

 

See I would post my collection of kotos..but I don't have any yet..so ya, there goes that idea.

Oh yea I was gonna ask about the newer koto Vader from ROTS. It seems some people are having trouble making him stand up (apparently he tends to lean because he is top heavy)...If I plan to get this, can I expect to run into the same problems???

 

It may sound silly but I think its a hot climate thing - in summer my vader does lean back more.
The pegs on the feet of the clone trooper are a lot more solid.

 

You think that really could have something to do with it? It does make sense. I live in Florida, and it's been hot as hell lately. Come to think of it he didn't lean back this far when it was a bit cooler.

 

do you all not run your AC or what????

Anyway I'm still torn on what to get for my first koto...

Either 501st, AOTC trooper, or scout trooper.

 

It's a catch 22, if i leave my AC on i wouldn't be able to afford the figures it would stop from drooping lol


As for your fisrt figure I don't know? I got Vader, Shock then the Scout probably go the AOTC as he might be harder to get since he's older, or just get your favourite character first.

 

First one I got was Sith Anakin, then AOTC trooper and Scout trooper at the same time, then Snowtrooper, Boba Fett, and then ROTS Vader was the last one I got. I would say go with the AOTC trooper. As shocktrooper pointed out, he's the oldest and rarest of the three you want, so go ahead and get him out of the way. You won't be dissapointed.

 

Well, you gotta sympathise with Vader. I mean, the guy already is crippled, killed his true love, lost half of his power and you guys put him on display in Florida? The guy wears a leather suit, come on!

probably around 85, 90. they said it would cost more since its 2 characters. casefresh.com has it up for 135 AUD (101 USD) and they usually run a little high in prices.

though they do have the chewbacca koto for $38.
