The creature concepts in that preview look cool.

That game looks and sounds great. Everything is beautiful except the player model...

 

Wll, as of yet, I think we've only seen the human player model. According to the article JP posted, there are 2 other races to play as, and they may look better to you, Dan.

 

Danmeister, the game is many, many moons away. Give them a break.

JO didn't look at spiffy as it does now back at E3.

But I do agree that it will probably be changed for the better with time. It was probably one of the very first things they did, so it looks like crap.

If it was the first thing they did, then maybe they didn't put him in robes because of time constraints, i.e. just nabbing another player model. But yes, I hope he does get his robes back from the dry cleaner by release time.

 

This game is enough to convice me to buy an X-Box.

 

I heard this game will all original music except for a few of the classic themes.

You can't believe that, but you can believe a whiny farm boy can use some mystical, magical unseen power and single-handedly destroy an 80 mile-in-diameter fortified battlestation? ;-)

It's called familiarity. Some people might think that Gamorreans would have evolved a little over 4000 years.... but most fans want to see their favorite pig-faced race wielding the same stuff from the movies and wearing the same clothes. There would be a nerd uproar if most races we're familiar with were dinked around with too much.

A wookiee in pants and a cape? One of yoda's race speaking with correct grammar? Technology not developing into something like Star Trek's transporters to get stuff to and from planet surfaces over 4000 years? All absurd things in the eyes of the vast majority of SW fans.

agree Jomero. familiarity is what makes SW games strike a chord
