Kotor/Star Wars movie connection

The sith soldiers in silver armor i think weresupposed to be like stormtroopers of that era. Double-bladed lightsabers can be connected to Ep1. There is more in my head but cant think right now.

 

I have had an idea about this i posted in the kotor 3 thread.

 

And there is the Spice smuggling in KOTOR!

 

Plus there is always

"Alderaan...they're on Alderann."

A nice little nod to ANH

 

Calo Nord = Jango/Boba Fett

Ebon Hawk = Millenium Falcon (both are birds huntes )

In some block on Taris, when that old box with password appears, you can read: "Taris is not Alderaan, it can be dangerous here", or something like that.

And for the other connections... They meant to do the game similar to the films. It's obvious. At least, it was created mostly for SW fans, wasn't it?

 

Vandar (as well as most video game and cartoon Yodas) was voiced by Tom Kane, not Frank Oz.


But KOTOR does draw a lot of parallels to the films. Here's a few more:

Sith Lord with a double-bladed lightsaber weilding apprentice.

Mira's "execution" in on Nar Shadda could be compared to the arena on Geonosis.

Rancor in the sewers = Jabba's rancor

Unknown World = Kamino

Smartmouth old Jedi (Jolee) = Smartmouth old Jedi (Obi-Wan)

A protocol droid with no knowledge of their important past is purchased on Tatooine

Sand person enclave slaughter = Tusken camp slaughter

A planet is blockaded and the Jedi must find an alternate route to the palace in order to help the Queen.

 

"Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father"

vs.

"You mean you don't know?! Hahahaha!"

I forgot the name of the guy that Carth hates with a passon but that guy is Tarkin all the way

 

The sand people destroying the sandcrawler, ala the imperials while Luke thought Sand people.

 

Slaying Sand people was fun, unlike Clones.
