Meh, I still prefer STO

 

It took forever for me to download, it's a big program.

Y'all are free to friend me in TOR though, my username is RebeccaDaniels, unsurprisingly. I dunno if you have to friend characters or accounts though... I'm still a noob to that game.

 

Once it downloads, I'll do that.

 

I liked being able to wander around Tython... got an idea of what the planet's like for Forgotten Ones

I think it took hours for me, even with 5-10 Mbps. The most recent patch took foreverrrr, I was so annoyed.

 

It's not going that slowly.

 

Your internet's probably better than mine haha. At least the game doesn't lag

It's actually almost half-way.

 

I want to play TOR but don't think my computer can handle it...

 

When I said it's half-way, I was wrong. It's still downloading. Although, I think it's about an hour away to be downloaded.

My problem is TOR exceeds my monthly download data limit Not sure how to work around that.

 

I left for hours, I came back, and it's still downloading.

Anybody play KOTOR 1 and 2 back to back at all? I think that is a great experience.

 

I don't have a limit, makes it easy I'm more worried about when I get back home since our internet is less than half the speed of what I get here... probably won't be able to play Then again, might be switching providers since it's so bad.

General Valerian , yup, it takes aaaaaaaaaaages to download the client and the game. I thought it was just my internet being slow, but a lot of people I've spoken to had the same problem.
I've gotten an upgrade (not full subscription) but there were issues at the start up. I can play it for say 30min (got stuck in the Tython intro part) and then the client crashes. I'll probably have to get a better computer to play it. In the mean time Guild Wars 2 is taking care of my daily dose of online questing.

I've tried that. Just my back-to-back lasted over a course of several months due to limited gaming time. But yeah, it's great fun, especially starting with TSL a day after KOTOR 1 and geeking out over the gameplay changes etc. xD
I prefer the KOTOR 2 game mechanics, but the first game's story.
