KOTOR: The Movie Episode 2 UNDERWAY!

Good news ...

I outputed 33 minutes from the film (Logan striking a deal with the Beks thru him becoming a Jedi on Dantooine) onto a full DVD, just to see how the sound and visuals would come off from a dvd player and then onto my projection screen and home theater. The results were superb! About 5 minutes in, you'll really think less about machinima (or whatever it is called) and its simply a Star Wars story. I was pleased with the pacing as well. Just thought I'd let everyone know... I was going to kill the project if it didn't provide a good home theater experience... but just my luck, it works great. Haha, Anyways, progress is that I'm just at Logan reaching Jedi-hood. There'll be no Juhani... we are going straight to the ruins... with any luck I'll get on Kaskyyk around the same timeframe as we got to Bespin in Empire.

i loved the music at the end of the taris escape clip if i am not mistaken it was from the end of the judge dredd movie (i hope its tru they are makeing another one that one wasn't ever consistant with the storyline of dredd)

 

I laughed myself stupid when i heard the "that star keeps getting in my eyes" bit. I remembered saying that all the time in the game,. veary nicely done.

 

A nice little homage to the fact that even though it's a 'movie'... this at heart is a videogame... when Logan finally destroys the last ship and they blast off into deep space... Logan says:

"Just like the video game..."

Awesome -- though I haven't seen much of the other characters' voices. What I'd really like to see is Revan's complex interaction with the characters -- inserting your voice in place of the game lines and/or rearranging them to make dynamic conversations, and the like. That will be the most amazing aspect of the game, if you can pull it off.

My PC version has an orbiting space-station at Yavin with a rodian. Is this what you're referring to?

I'll try submitting to Fan Films here at TFN, but I think they'll be spooked because of the copyright questions that could be raised. Which is why they didn't accept my Star Wars: Episode IV a New Hope trailer (which was edited as if the prequels came out first). Who knows, though, I guess!
