ST Kylo's theme is not yet finished?

Ok so hear me out:

Kylo's theme is heard quite early when his ship lands on Jakku;
It has these long notes that just form a basic structure and rhythm.

What if his theme hasn't been completed yet? He himself is not yet complete with the Dark side.

I hope that when he completes his training, his theme will have more rhythm and notes just as Vaders' theme.

What do you think?

I agree, it is reasonable. I really enjoyed the TFA soundtrack particularly these: The Scavenger, Rey's Theme, The Jedi Steps. I would like to hear more of a Kylo Theme too though.

 

I've thought of this as well, but I highly doubt it will happen. John Williams doesn't go all out with themes anymore, they're more like motifs.

 

Great idea. As soon as he exited the shuttle, and I heard his theme, I got a sense that it was a "young" and sort of "wild" theme. Not as stately and evil as the Imperial March. It would be great to hear the theme develop and mature as Kylo grows older and more sure of himself.

 

Imperial March wasn't revealed till ESB, so if we are going with the whole symmetry thing then the Kylo Theme wont be revealed until VIII. Nice

 

Sounds interesting and also very believable...

 

You get hints of Ben's redemption around ~1:07 in "Torn Apart." It's a five note ascent, also unfinished. [x] Heavy with strings, emotive. Ia, Kylo|Ben's theme/motif is definitely unfinished. Looking forward to what JW gives us in the next two movies.

 

I think he'll get a completely new theme because his TFA theme "evaporates" in "The Ways of the Force" as he is defeated by Rey only reappears once in the score after that point (via a brief performance in the end credit suite).
Plus Williams isn't one for gradually developing themes over multiple films (at least in this particular way). "Anakin's Theme" for instance, seemed ripe for development but ultimately didn't really receive any (though the 90 degree turn for the character by AOTC didn't help).

 

He could get a new theme altogether maybe,

What I just noticed is that in the OST it's not called Kylo's theme but instead 'Kylo Ren Arrives at the Battle'. So We haven't heard his theme. We'll just have to wait

 

If you listen to The Ways of the Force, there's a second part to his theme.

 

I'm afraid we urgently need some important infos or spoiler from Star Wars 8 like this one from Dubrovnik a day ago

But then again, Vader's character didn't warrant a theme in ANH....he wasn't even the Big Baddie in that film.

And the Emperor was only mentioned by name once.

How come Tarkin didn't get a theme?
