Niagara, ON Labour Day Parade - Cancelled

We have been invited to participate in a parade on Labour Day in St. Catharines. I'd like to get an idea of how many people we have interested before I submit the application for the parade. Please get back to me ASAP is you would like to march. Here are the details:

LINE UP AT KERNAHAN PARK SCHOOL ON BUNTING ROAD AT 9:00 A.M. PARADE STARTS AT 11:00 A.M. SHARP
PARADE ROUTE IS BUNTING TO QUEENSTON TO HARTZEL TO SEYMOUR TO CARNIVAL

I will update this thread with info as to where to meet before the parade when it becomes available.

 

We still need some more people to commit before I can submit the application for the parade. So far, here's who will be marching:

Andrew (legoman) - Scout Trooper
Jessica (Andrew's sister) - Jedi
Rob (yodascorch) - Stormtrooper
Tom (TK42Tom)- Greedo or Fleet Trooper?
Doug (jedidougcnd) - X-Wing Pilot
John (woofer) - X-Wing Pilot
Tom (T_StarFlyer) - TIE Pilot (tentative)
Janet (Rabellaka) - Jocosta Nu (tentative)

I have an extra Jedi costume if anyone would like to borrow it, and Jay has an extra Stormtrooper which he usually lends out.

 

Andrew...how many do we need...how about Cam and Caleb?

 

I'm hoping to have about a dozen, and I have yet to hear from Cam. I sent the same message out on Facebook.

 

Tentitive for now But Definate for Grape & Wine

 

I'm interested, and getting the day off is no problem. I just need to run it by my husband, as we're on vacation the week before.

We still need a few more people for this. There are a few tentatives on the list that still need to confirm, and I'd like to get at least four more people. Remember, we do have extra costumes for those who don't have one.

 

As of now, we only have 6 people confirmed for this parade. The organizers have seen our group in the Grape & Wine and are very excited to have us. I would hate to disappoint them with a small group or by cancelling on them. We do have extra costumes for those who don't have one.

Please let me know soon whether or not you can make it so I won't have to cancel last minute if we son't have enough people.

 

Due to lack of interest, and the fact that September is already so busy for us, I am cancelling this event.

 

Should I (or someone) update this as canceled on the 501st site?
