Hey I'm labpizza! if you haven?t gathered as much by my username...
I've seen people do these post thinggy's so i thought i might do one of my own. While looking though other peoples post i've seen some amazing stuff - ALL OF IT IS AMAZING!! so yes! i am shamed out to show my crappy works! but still can't help but want to show my stuff...

I made the luke picture separate in flash - then my friend said i should make a wallpaper out of the image - yeah sure why not... i still don?t like this picture... the proportions bother me.

Great! You started a thread of your own, labpizza! And you should be very proud of your stuff--it's great! I'm seeing a lot of variety in your work, from very realistic (the "quick sketch" of Grievous--the one with color) to the very stylized. I really admire people who can do so many different types of drawing--well done! Welcome to the Art Forum, and keep posting!

Very, very nice! You shouldn't be ashamed of any of your work...it's really great. And by the way, I like the thumbnails are better than links.

 

I really love the Grievous sketch, did you use watercolors for those strokes? It looks awesome.

The other pieces are mighty impressive too. I eagerly await the colored version of your Grievous lineart.

 

LightPollution - Watercolours? i dont know which grevious picture you're talking about but the sketch was done with a fineliner and TRIA Markers... The other Linart thingo was done on computer.. with the pen and brush tool's... not forgetting the handy eraser too!

EmilieDarklighter - Yeah I likes thumbnails too.. but some people (like myself) have slow connections and its a real pain to load so meny thumbnails...
Still ahamed though at showing my work - i don't really like my work u_u

I love your art! I'm trying to learn more life-like drawing, but I will always love caricature and comic style art. It's so clean and crisp. Keep it up! ^_^

I've been reading a few comics about boba fett and It makes me wonder how much of a great character he is! ...I had a suddent urge to draw him. I did...

heh.. me again, being an idiot posting another one of my pics...
I had the first 3 steps, then when i coloured the picture i extended the canvas and added the last two steps on it...
Final picture was done in 3 layers... Lineart, colour, and um.. random yellow dots... hmmm... random?
twas fun.. but i want to do something better cuz i no likes that much.. but on the bright side... I actually finished something.. if you consider it finished?

Heh, Boba looks all kinds of awesome, sort of a whimsical style (that I reaaalllyyy want to see more of) thats really working for you.

Its also neat to see your progression from initial sketch to final CG, its cool watching an artist's process and seeing how they push/pull a sketch to an ink to a color.

Keep posting, for the love of god, keep posting.

(wiping forehead) I sure hope so! I've always had a weakness for anime/comic style art. I love clean lines. That's usually where I get into trouble with life-like art. So much shading! But I admit it is getting easier. You like my style!?? I totally dig yours. It's the most unique I've ever seen. I think it would look awesome for the Clone Wars toons. ^-^

I really like the Luke in armor - has nice anime feel to it but you can still see the classic Star Wars coming through.

 

I love admitting things, now I gotta admit that I ain?t that good at replying to messages in a way of which ?expressing? my gratitude and my absolute thanks! I mean even now as I speak I can?t tell you how much I say thanks ? but this isn?t really admitting something ? it?s a fact.
I?m also sorry for a long reply, I?ve just had a ball, school etc. homework... heh pretty much the normal excuse you?re gonna get?. I wont talk about the ball else I?ll write about 2-3 pages about it (like I did on DA)

Heh, if you can see a little box in the left hand corner.. well that was just an idea for a comic I was planning... this whole page was ment to be a Consept page for that comic.. but then I kinda exaggerated after that little comic? and well.. until it turned into something completely different ? but hey its more fun then doing Consept designs.

I thought I might write it down.. because the pancho idea what his so.. I don?t like to take credit for something that isn?t mine. And the work pretty much inspired me.. but of course HIS work is more dynamic? one day I maybe I could make my work dynamic.

Wow, I really like the Boba one! I'm terrible at inking and this is quite intresting to see how you work!

I like the storm trooper one too, very funny!!

 

I love this work! My favourites are Boba Fett, with his stylised rags and Wookie braids flying in the wind, and this picture of Luke; I love his profile and his slouching pose. Then again, I really like this Wookie pic too (made me smile the first time I saw it), and I think the Grievous marker sketch is incredibly stylish, makes me think of Japanese brushwork, very cool.

All of your drawings are great, you seem to bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to your work, and it shows. Keep posting more, please.
