AkashKedavra_93: Allllrighty. Had this half written this morning and just saw Sx3's addition. Curses! Had to maneuver things a bit to revise it for Mr. Hill.

This is sort of based on a hodgepodge of things I wanted to see the EU do, but it never did:

    Arc Title: Under False Colors

Episode I: Revenge of the Clones

The episode begins with an army of clones just finishing up a grueling but victorious battle against the droid army. A ship arrives with the expected reinforcements. The grounded clones become appreciably more lighthearted and meet the newcomers, only to be greeted in turn by blasterfire. This new army of clones quickly wipes out the first group. Some enter the communications base and call Coruscant for assistance, claiming there has been an ambush. When a couple of these infiltrating "clones" remove their helmets, it's revealed that they look no different than any ordinary clone.

The Jedi decide to send assistance. Since Shaak Ti is still overseeing the training of the clones and a fairly novice group had been recently dispatched to the planet, she volunteers to go, alongside Anakin and Obi-Wan. They travel in Yularen's brand new ship, which sports laserpower and shields that can do serious damage to the surface of a planet from space -- for the audience, it's an obvious precursor to the later Star Destroyer and Death Star technology.

They arrive on the planet to find the "clones" fighting a group of droids. The Jedi assist, and take the "clones" onboard. All goes well until halfway through their journey, when the "clones" sabotage the ship, shut down most of the systems, and trap the Jedi. They take the ship to a mysterious rendezvous destination over an unknown planet, where they meet up with Mar Tuuk, who takes control of the ship. The Jedi, their generals (Rex and Cody), and Yularen are marched into an escape pod and jettisoned into space.

Episode II: City of a Thousand Faces

Anakin fixes the pod, and it crashes on the mysterious planet. Mar Tuuk, in the meantime, has taken Yularen's super-advanced ship to Rothana, the production center for much of the technology that powers the clone army. He proceeds to lay waste to the planet. Meanwhile, on the mystery planet, Anakin and co. explore a strange city. There are all sorts of species, including many rare and supposedly extinct ones. It's obvious all citizens are in constant communication with one another and with some central hub, and they all sport headphones.

Anakin kidnaps a little human boy to find out what's going on. Shaak Ti and Obi-Wan are not impressed. In a panic, the boy transforms into a dozen different species in moments. Anakin concludes they're on Zolan, the home planet of the Clawdites. Anakin mind-tricks the boy (also against the other Jedis' protests) to tell him what's going on. They learn the communicators are part of the culture -- in order to tell who everyone is at all times and police the planet's citizenry, the Clawdites are in constant communication with one another via headsets. Except recently, the Hyper-Communications Cartel has taken over the system, and the Clawdites have been working under the command of San Hill, the Cartel founder. Anakin decides it's time to pay him a visit.

In the meantime, Mar Tuuk's forces continue to bombard Rothana. Tuuk keeps calling Grievous to show up with reinforcements so they can acquire, not destroy, the planet, but the General's otherwise occupied. Anakin and the others, in the meantime, infiltrate the HCC base and disrupt the global communication network. They try to escape during the mass panic, but are separated. Anakin, Shaak Ti, and Cody are captured while the others escape, and are brought to a prison chamber to be interrogated by San Hill. The episode ends with Palpatine holding an emergency meeting with military personnel and the Jedi in his office about what to do about Rothana. Tarkin steps forth and says he has a plan.

    Episode III: Duel Deception

Tarkin brings his own fleet to Rothana and faces off with Tuuk. In the meantime, the HCC repairs Zolan's communications and San Hill broadcasts a very convincing but fraudulent speech denouncing atrocities committed by Anakin and Shaak Ti. He then orders several Clawdites to replicate as the two captured Jedi and Cody and orders them to infiltrate the Senate on Coruscant, part of a plan to rescue the captured Separatist leaders. At the same time, Obi-Wan, Yularen, and Rex wander around Zolan, trying to devise a plan. They notice much disagreement among the Clawdites -- the HCC is essentially like Big Brother, but the Clawdites are so accustomed to their own government listening in to their conversations anyway that many argue it's no big difference. But it's become a major point of contention, with one side arguing that the Clawdites should ditch the headsets, and the other side afraid that if they do, mass chaos would erupt since it would be simple for wayward members of their species to cause a riot. Even Yularen and Obi-Wan get into a disagreement about the situation, arguing the merits of an oppressive government system. Rex does not feel comfortable giving an opinion.

In the meantime, the Anakin/Shaak Ti/Cody Clawdites and their team of several dozen arrive on Coruscant and infiltrate the Senate. Ahsoka notices "Anakin" and tries to catch his attention. She soon realizes it's not the real Anakin once he mistakenly refers to Cody as his general. She contacts the other Jedi, but it's too late -- the Clawdites realize they've been discovered, and begin running through the Senate, disguising themselves as whoever they touch. The real Anakin and Shaak Ti manage to escape their confines and find a ship to leave Zolan and warn Coruscant. Mar Tuuk continues to fight Tarkin, but he's none too thrilled -- he doesn't want to wreck the planet since the plan was to confiscate the manufacturing facilities. Grievous hasn't sent reinforcements yet.

Bothered by the oppressive treatment of the Clawdites under the HCC, Obi-Wan takes a stand. Despite Yularan's protests, he finds a spot in the city center and denounces the HCC and the Clawdite's oppressive government system. The Clawdites are at a loss what to do, so San Hill comes forth and defends the Clawdites' "culture," countering that the Jedi are an oppressive force to the Galaxy. The two begin a verbal sparring match. On Coruscant, Palpatine is also giving a speech. But he is interrupted when several Anakins and other Clawdite-copies crash the Senate. The real Anakin and Shaak Ti arrive, only to be attacked as "fakes." On Rothana, Mar Tuuk thinks he has deceived Tarkin: he put the latter into a position whereby he is forced to choose whether to sacrifice one of his capital ships to save the domed Rothana City from breaching and allowing noxious atmospheric gas into the city. Tarkin does not take the bait, and attacks Tuuk instead. Tuuk did not expect this very "inhuman" decision, but the order had already gone out and the city is destroyed. Grievous finally arrives to see the planet in ruins, and blames Tuuk.

The charismatic Obi-Wan defeats Hill and convinces the Clawdites to remove their communicators and have more trust in one another. In the meantime, the real Anakin defeats several fake Anakins that had threatened to kill Palpatine. When the Clawdite threat is distinguished, they get word from Grievous: he is willing to trade the traitorous Mar Tuuk, now denounced by the Republic as the most vile Separatist for having murdered a city of nearly a billion, in return for the captured Separatists leaders. The Republic agrees, and Wat Tambor and Poggle the Lesser go free. However, only too late does the Republic realize they did not, in fact, obtain the real "Mar Tuuk"....

EDIT: Yeah, realized I forgot the darned fortune cookies. I'm uh... allergic to Jedi fortune cookies. Yeah. That's it.[face_whistling]
