Lafayette Meetings

Well, we havent had a meeting here in Lafayette for awhile(I would have loved to attend one of the last 2 Baton Rouge ones but I just couldn't). I would guess that the majority of the ruling body of this board is consumed by swg and doesnt have the real life time to organize anything. I'm not calling for a vote of no confidence or anything. I might suggest another gaming night or some other group activity.I know ROTS is only 6 months away. It would be a real shame if thats the next meeting date we are shooting for. If no one else feels this way then obviously I'm the odd person out. Feel free to voice your thoughts.

 

We should watch ROTK, maybe.

 

Last minute idea!

Robert (aka Crestfallen and DartRender) and I are planning to watch the Ewok Live Action DoubleFeature (Caravan of Courage & Battle for Endor) Thursday, January 6th, starting at 07:30 PM.

If you want to join us, you are welcome. It will be at my place. Anyone is welcome. We know this is a little dorky, but hey, it's STAR WARS.

Just give me directions to your house again and I will go after I leave work. I am working in jennings now so it will take me like 45 minutes to get there and i get off like at 6. I want to make it to this one even if it is just a small meeting. May the force be with you all.

I also just found out that I will have to be in Shreveport the evening of May 18.

I'm a writer for the Daily Advertiser/Daily World and am looking for Star Wars fans for April feature we're running on Episode III.

I'm writing the story because, ultimately, I'm the only one on the staff who's waited in line overnight for the past two movies. Would like to talk to local enthusiasts about Episode III and what are plans locally on the night of the premiere.
