Before - Legends Lamentations for Padme

This is a songfic I wrote... lately I've been reading some of my old master's songfics and thought 'hey I could do that..'

Long lost words whisper slowly to me

Padme stood looking out of the window, the window of her prison.

Still can?t find what keeps me here

Anakin?s ghost flitted about the room. Outside, in place of Anakin, stood Darth Vader.

When all this time I?ve been so hollow inside

Padme felt hollow, a shell, her children gone, her husband gone, in his place?.

I know you?re still there

A monster?.

Watching me
Wanting me
I can feel you pull me down
Fearing you
Loving you
I won?t let you pull me down

Padme felt determination?.

This monster would not rule her.

Hunting you I can smell you ? alive

She felt him enter, heard his raspy breathing?.

Your heart pounding in my head

Felt him watching her?

She felt him leave?.. and knew it was time.

Watching me
Wanting me
I can feel you pull me down
Saving me
Raping me
Watching me

Vader entered later, and saw Padme on the floor. Dead.
