Ive just heard the premis for this one! Ok.... there's zombies right... duh

Humans have a walled city in which they live relatively normal lives safe from the bzillions of undead claswing mindlessly at the walls.

There are some corrupt a- holes in control of the city who reside in a skyscraper in the city (ex soldiers I think they were- thy surviced the costruction of the wall and the cleansing of the city area inside)

thats all I know at this point but it sounds like it has more to it than you're regular zombie movie!

lol Romero zombies do not talk...they are starting to grunt to each other though as a basis of communication. In Land they are starting to evolve

Cool. I don't know why they remade night of the living dead, then Dawn of the dead but not Day of the dead!

The only good thing in that movie was "The Chad!"

I hate pervy movies like that and Blue Crush. Its so pointless- go read a target catalogue, don't just whack it in a movie!

the dawn of the dead remake was actually really good, IMO. The running zombies scared me very much.

yes Boogie i did find the dawn remake not bad in its own right. The faster and more vicious zombies were cool. I thought the original had more plot depth and character development though. I read some where a while ago that they were thinking of making a "Dawn of the Dead 2".

well on an island there may be tourists etc who have died and come back. I hate people who think "28 Days Later" is a zombie flick!!! It is not!!!!!!!

Have any of you seen a film called "Guitar Wolf"? It's a bizarre asian zombie flick that features all you could want - rediculous zombies, a guitar-clad hero with lightning coming out his guitar, transvestites, and a love story between two un-dead charaters.

zombies are the re-animated dead, in "28 Days Later" the victims were just purely infected by the virus and did not die first

So by your defenition, to be a Zombie has to die first.... and has nothing to do with people staggering around and moaning and craving human flesh.

    Okay. So their Halfbies.....

I've always thought that at the end of zombie flicks they should change the disclaimer to "Any similarity to persons living, dead or living dead is purely coincidental..."

Just saw the film and I thought it was pretty sub standard really. WHilst some parts had me in stitches like the zombie biting out the girl's piercing and the no legged zombie riding the truck.

Overall though Dawn of the Dead the remake was a much better zombie film. It just seemed like Romero pulled a Lucas and forgot what made the original movies so great.

Making the Zombies smarter actually took away the tension and the danger. As they lay siege to the city I started to actually hope that they'd win.

Overall the movie was very wishywashy and lacked a real climax.
