Disguised as a guard in ROTJ, Lando bashes his head on the ceiling at one point.

Just like Jango and that stormtrooper!
HE'S ONE OF THEM!

C'mon, the evidence just MOUNTS up!

He bashes his head on the ceiling! And he, well, he also...and...did I mention he bashes his head on the ceiling? That's downright suspicious to me.

    of course!!!! why didnt i think of it before?!?! when Han calls Lando an "ol' smoothie" he's really referring to a drink made with a blender... and a cloner blends genes to make them more docile.. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!!!! 8-}

OMG! And there's all the evidence in the Caption Action in TFN games!

It's all so clear. That's the whole point of the saga. Good overthrowing evil? Nah. It's all about the clones!

I've noticed this, but I prefer to think of it more as an "even numbered SW movie tradition". Just like capitalized text in the crawl, and 'happy' titles.

And in ESB, you never see Lando and Boba in the same shot!

    And he works for Vader!

    And he's a good pilot!

Does this mean Harvey Dent, DA for Gotham City is also a clone?

Do clones drink Colt .45? This could be a hole in your theory.

Ahh, that's just a cunning cover story.
The head-bashing is Lando's only mistake!
    Run for the hills!

If AotC is to be believed, they just mime it. :p

Uhh, yeah you do see Lando and Boba in the same shot - right after Vader tortures Han Solo they are shown walking towards an elevator or something.

He's still a clone, though! Why do you think he gets so friendly with Nien Nunb?

Hmm, good point. And as far as both Boba and Lando being in the same shot in freezing place, maybe Lando, taking a cue from Padme, has decoys. And the Boba Fett we see there, isn't really the Lando Clone Boba Fett, but a decoy of the Lando Clone Boba Fett used in case Vader decided to flip out and kill Fett.

Actually, it's not a joke! According to Leigh Brackett's first draft of ESB (then called "Star Wars Sequel"), Lando is "a clone of the Ashandi family" in hiding after the Clone Wars demolished his brethren. At some point he was meant to come across a whole group of Lando-clones!

Of course I feel the need to bring up a couple of quotes from Star Wars The Annotated Screenplays. In the creation process for ESB, at one point Lando was going to be a clone.

"In Star Wars Leia mentioned 'the Clone Wars' in her holographic message to Ben, and [Lando] could be a clone. The princess doesn't trust him because of the war that practically wiped out his species. He could be one of the last clones, and in another episode he could run across a clan of clones who are all exactly like him. He came from a planet of clones; the planet had maybe seven hundred different countries, and each country was composed of a clone clan and he was the ruler of one of the clans." -- p. 196

"Leia asks if Lando can have [C-3PO] repaired, but he says that his workshops are already running overtime. He reassures her that the Falcon, however, will soon be ready. Leia doesn't trust Lando and suspects he might be a clone.

"Later Lando invites the group to dinner. On their way he admits to being a clone of the Ashandi family: His great-grandfather wanted many sons and produced them from the cells of his own body. His sister produced many daughters the same way. Since the war, not many clones are left. Lando confesses that he feels alone now that he walks among people who all look different." -- p. 202-203

Lando is no clone! He's the son of Grando Calrissian. It'll all be made apparent in the mantina scene of episode 3.

Why not? Almost everyone in the Star Wars Universe seems to be a clone these days. :p
