Lando, Luke, and Han

    Ok so heres a question i have always wondered. How was it that Han and Lando became Generals and Luke didnt? Luke did blow up the DS, Han just provided some back up. And Lando wasnt even in the Rebellion until after he betrayed Han, Leia, etc

    Actually, as revelead in the Essential Chronology, Luke was a General, before he resigned his military commission after his campaign against Lord Shadowspawn.

    Luke did become a general, after RotJ. Consulting my handy dandy Essential Chronology (which is where I first learned of his generalship), it says he was not terribly interested in the responsibility of being a general and was more interested in finding and training new Jedi. So he resigned after six months. I'm guessing this happened in one of the comics, but I haven't read any, myself. I don't think I can be any less helpful or more vague.
