Laser-Quest & Games Night Meet - 28th/29th Jan!!

That?s right folks, we will have another crack at a Laser Quest meet.
The first one didn?t exactly go according to plan, but with the knowledge and experience we now have, this second attempt should go without mishap....hopefully

No firm date yet, but shall we say for starters some time between late January to mid February 2006??
Matt & Koren, can we count you and maybe your friends in again?? Jeannette?? Can the ever illusive Raj make it this time?? And of cause anyone else who fancies the trip.

Once again the meet will take place at Kingston?s Laser Quest. And this time it will be booked, so we will need definitely numbers, although I?m sure there is a little bit of room for no-showers.

We'll be there as long as its on a day when we're not working. Hopefully by then I'll have my new projector so afterwards we can watch SW on a MASSIVE screen. If not, I should at least have my new tv (havent decided wether to get a 42" or bigger). Anyhoo, put us down as there!

 

I hope so! I have post-xmas exams too, but I'm sure I can keep a Saturday free - if nothing else, I'll pretend you're all barristers

I don't think I have any plans in late Jan or early Feb. Only plan I currently have for Feb is GMEX in Manchester. So any day should be fine for me

I'm planning on going to the GMEX event too, so that weekend wont be included but if Matt and/or Koren know of any dates when you're both free then that could be a good place to start

No worries Elliot, it wont clash with Empire Day as I may be attending that event too. I was waiting for the website to update before I started a thread on that so thanks for the heads up

 

Ok so what dates do we have from that then?

 

Here are two dates for us to ponder with:

The weekend of the 14th/15th January

or

the weekend of the 28th/29th January

As we discussed in another thread, it would be a great idea to merge this meet with the 'Games' meet. Matt and Koren have kindly donated their home for us, so the plan would be to play laser-quest during the day, then go back to theirs for some Star Wars trivial pursuit

 

I think either is good for me so I will go along with the crowd

 

I'd say 14th/15th January, just cos Im going to a concert the other weekend.

 

I'm worried that the 14th/15th is too soon, so I will also throw in February 4th/5th into the equation.

The hinge of the decision will be with Matt & Koren, but also Jimbo will be supplying the games so we need a day good for him too.

 

I might be filming at the Prince's Trust in Feb so will need to check the date of when that might be, so January might be better for me rather than Feb. As I said will have to check the date of when they need me.

 

We've got the Star Wars trivial pursuit d.v.d. edition now as well as the monolpoly, so all now rests on whether Konikus will be working or not.

Just let us know when you know you'll both be free from work and we'll try and get the date confirmed

 

One things has cropped up for me so there is a slight date change.
January the 14th/15th is no longer pratical, but it's freed up the weekend of January the 21st/22nd now.

Sorry for the change and hopefully it wont affect anyone

So, here are the proposed dates:

January 21st/22nd
January 28th/29th
February 4th/5th

I'm favouring either of the January dates at the mo.

 

Either of the January ones for me

 

I can do 28/29 or 4/5 - I have a you-know-what on the 23rd

 

It just so happens that my only weekend off this month is the weekend of the 28/29th. If everyone is o.k with that, we should do it then.

 

That's fine by me, earlier might mean me more jet lagged and well Feb I might be off filming so that weekend for me anyway is a good one
