This is the last call for participants in our blood drive. As a reminder to those who have volunteered, here's the details.

We will be gather at the Salt Lake Donor Center is located at 6616 South 900 East in Murray, Utah right off of I-215. I will be taking the first slot at 12:30, and we are welcome to fill in the rest of the schedule until 1:30.

Please remember to eat before you go, and drink plenty of water. There is always a chance of being light headed, or passing out, but if you do that you will significantly reduce your risk.

I'm looking forward to seeing the brave souls there!

I didn't know it was in Murray. I don't have a way to get up there. :(

yeah likely excuse. You're just too afraid to admit that you are afraid of needles. :p

I received a phone call this morning from my contact at the Red Cross. He expressed his gratitude to the seven who came to help out, and I thought I'd pass that on to you guys.

[face_blush] oh I feel all warm and tingly inside now. It was fun and I hope we can do it again though.

Congratulations everyone on a successful Blood Donation event!

Now you've shown the community that we're not just a bunch of geeks but rather a bunch of geeks who care! ;)

    Later,

I'm not afraid of needles. I'm not afraid to get my blood drawn. I've had times in my life where every three months I went to the hospital to have blood work done. That's a LOT of blood work.

I AM, however, afraid that I was responsible for my house while my family was away. I couldn't leave anyway... :(
