also picked up a swag of sw goodies at the markets... 12 inch dolls, naboo starfighter, jedi starfighter,

ok....it was a bog standard yellow one from ROTS ,but it was intact and only a few dollars.Not one of the slightly more difficult to locate ones that came later.

 

The comic is Shipyards of Doom - Darkhorse Clone Wars very much like the 10 volumes
they released before... smaller trade paperbacks.

As for our DVD player, here's a tip for anyone with a LG DVD player.
Open the disc tray, press the number zero, seven times.
Presto... your DVD player is region free... If you do it all correctly, it will tell you so on the TV screen.....
Most DVD players have region free cracks... just look them up with a google search.
We just bought a spare DVD player from Radio Rentals, it plays DivX files & is region free.
All for the bargain price of $39...

Yep, I bought an Olin dvd player for about $10 more and it's region free and plays DivX. I'm pretty much in heaven! Can watch all those Region 1,2,3 dvds I haven't been able to for a while.

Funny how the cheaper unknown brands seem to do a better job and are usually more reliable.

 

Completely strange that! I didn't really trust the smaller brands and pretty much went on a whim and it's paid off brilliant.

DivX multiregion enabled dvd players is pretty much the greatest invention

Don't start MS... you know if I really like a figure that I'll buy a second to set free for display.
