I figure we can post Times & Dates for Lazer Web here.

Since I -really- need to get out and meet some of you freaks I plan on being there. Chance of grabbing a bite to eat afterwards? There are a bunch of places to eat around there that serve...ah...er...adult beverages (if thats your thing.....its my thing anyway, lol)

I'm sure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I'll be slinging mud and tossing cream pies, so someone get some shots in for me. When is the next one slated to happen?

I'm thinking sometime next month.

Amazingly my schedule is looking free and clear for the entire month of April, so I'm game!

Ok, so I lied. . .

My boss couldn't make it, after scoffing at me on friday saying "You won't need to call me of COURSE I'll remember!" . . . I called him a little after 8 when I was getting there to ask if he was on his way he answered. . .

" On my way to what?"

"Lazer tag."

"Oh You guys go have fun!"

I gotta cut the guy some slack, he's got a newborn at home, . . . but then that was part of the reason he was sure he was coming (his wife thought it would be good for him and was all for it :: sighs, shurggs::




and now for an overall run down of the night

It was basically Matt and I , a group of my freinds (Kelly, Ian, Robin, and Zab and Davis joined us as we were getting out of the third set) and Mark and his freind Frank.

(for clarity's sake we were blue team)

It was Ian, and Kelly's first time playing, and I'm not all that experienced with it either, (My first time in an areana was well, last years' april meeting. . . :: looks back at the calendar, wow. . . a year ago this weekend!) We were talking about different strategies on the observation deck, and I decided I'd try going around the bottom level on the first round.

That didnt' work out that well, snipers from the top got me, but well Mark was getting them so that was kinda cool. There was another group of girls that were pretty much sitting in a gagle and asking to be tagged. . so needless to say, Red team one the first set.

The next set, Matt and Mark were like screw this, we are going to control the sniper position, and covered each other. I went ahead and went back on top this round and had a shoot out with two people where basically, my back was in a corner and I kept poping around and getting them. and well them me. . .
Blue team won!

The third set, we were up against . . what did Mark call it? a rugrat swarm? there were about 5 youngin's on the Red team. I went back up to the spot I was in the last game, it was earlily quiet after the initial, "Let's all march into the arena yellying marching chants", almost as if everyone was settling in to pounce, trenching in so to say.

Lets just say we controlled the top of the arena that game, with mark and matt and quite a few other blues behind me, I was able to take pot shots at these three reds about in the same spot those other two were the first game. It was going great until a kid decided to keep comming up behind me, every time I went to shoot but that's what it's about.

After laser tag we went out and hit applebee's for food/desert, and hung out there until about 12:30.

not to mention we had a blast doing it!


it was fun. I'd say within the next 2-4 weeks?

But not THIS weekend. I had to call into work sick and go the the doctor this morning. I have tonsilitis and a sinus infection. I HATE being sick. I'd much rather go to work.

well, how about the 21st?

After 8:30pm of course. I'll bring frank again. He's been wanting to go and hang out again...

...Who am I to say no?

Gah!

that's the last swingtime. . . (we think) thier schedule said something else last week yet the band still thought their last gig at York Street was the 21st. . .

I might be able to bring a few people with me. Would anyone mind a 9 year old boy playing?

I just want to meet one more time before May 5th. (that's the thing @ the Library.)

At this point in time I'm available for either.

What is the plan for the library thing?

The 28th is fine with me, but it may take SWRPG to once montly.. . .
