LCC 8?

I had planned on entering this year, but just like every contest since I joined the boards, my fight partner announced to me that he's leaving next month, and won't be back until the fall... Which sucks, because I had some really cool ideas for this year. Just like the past few years, but people ended up beating me to the punch. lol Kinda like the split staff type weapon, and the spear type saber...

I really need to make some new local friends...


Anyone gonna be in the San Antonio area? during the time of the LCC?

Although, there is the extremely unlikely chance that things may actually work out for once... Otherwise, I'd really like to judge. Especially if Vegas is still gonna be a perk...

 

What was the name of that place that you shot at for LCC5?,you know that fight where you say "Exelllent, this is where the fun begins".

 

I assume your asking about my entry.

We shot that at an empty office building whose ground level garage stays lit up at night. A fun location, but terrible color tempature.

 

I really hope there is an LCC this year. I really want to enter.

I am wondering, once this starts, is anyone interested in partnering in a duel, either in the LA/Burbank, CA area, or the Northern Virginia area?. NOVA would have to be late april, California would be mid may onward.

 

obijuan told me in november he was planning on holding it. He also alluded to a second half of the year contest as that idea was popular. I would guess we're going to have a june to november/december contest this year.

Yeah, same guy. You'd have to ask Dr_Carnivora about that one...
He generally doesn't put his films up for download though.

 

Wild Idea: We should get the Downinfront guys to do commentaries for this year's entries. Heck, we should ask them to judge, considering our head judge is now entering. Perhaps it could spice up the contest in a new, exciting way?

 

That would actually be pretty cool. Their commentaries always make me laugh.

 

So, I watched some of the entrys and thought either SilentBat or Whiteley79 should have gotten first place. Everyone else did well, especially StormMovies. I hope to have an entry this year, I'm pretty confident about it. What's holding it up this year?

I'm actually ok with the contest being later in the year. I plan on pacing myself and putting together a solid entry.
