Hmm, I keep thinking that the contest deadline is in the winter. When did the last one take place? I forget already. Rules prolly won't be up until spring or summer, I thought.

I know you aren't the guy in the middle cause that's Laughing_Cheese so you either have to be the guy who gave me Reign of the Fallen or the guy on the right who I never knew.

I'm not sure why you're asking. People don't know the rules or the deadlines and don't have enough information to make an educated decision. Heck, I bet a large portion of possible entrants isn't even reading this thread.

 

I dont what to have a two entry contest.

 

im in. I wont procrasinate now and actually make something worth watching. Plus my b-day is in march, so I have an excuse to have a few friends come over and roto if I want.

Which means it is time for a new thread. That'll get their attention. But the rules at least should be set first, I think.


EDIT: What you could do is figure out the rules, post it in a LCC VI Entry Sign Up thread and set a limit of at least, say 5 entrants.
Just an idea.

 

The LCC's are high-profile enough that I don't think that will be an issue. Just make the announcement, set the rules, and let things happen.

First time in an LCC, so looking forward to it!

 

Just staying on the safe side, I am "in" too. It's my first time, too. May this contest give birth to a new generation of Ryan vs Dorkman-like awesomeness in lightsaber battle.

 

I honestly don't get the craze behind Ryan vs. Dorkman.

 

Why not just make entering something that people do when they submit their finished clip? Why can't we just count that as the entry? Personally, I don't see a need for an official "pre-contest sign-up" anyway. Perhaps as a more or less informal way of gauging interest, but if you require people to sign-up right now, then that means you have to exclude people from joining in later. What if someone misses the official sign-up, and decides somewhere around February or April that they want a shot at it?

 

Their fighting actually was one of the few that didn't look like "we're hitting each other with heavy wooden sticks we painted obvious visual effects on". Suspension of disbelief, man, just suspension of disbelief, from both the visuals and the choreography as well.

 

Does anybody know where I can download a copy of JediPastor's entry.

The one I have is not rotoscoped, and I saw the jpg of a finished product.

Did anyone else happen to notice that PraetorDrew's entry is completed and on YouTube and Stage6? Just happened to see that today, and I haven't seen it posted anywhere.

Don't know if Drew had any sort of big release plans, so, um... should I link it?
