    I just learned today that Carrie Fisher spoke French. Perhaps my ignorance, but it was a pleasant surprise to me. :D

    BBC News website managed to dig up several actors who were in Star Wars: An New Hope, and had forged a career attending SF conventions, and despite the vast numbers of SW people that I was aware off, I only recognised two of this lot.

    Cannot find the article now, so cannot link to it. :(
