Yep, Kithura and Rachel are right.

Wie geht es Dir? -> How are you? (singular -Du)
Wie geht es Euch? -> How are you? (plural -Du)
Wie geht es Ihnen? -> How are you? (singular/plural of Sie-form)

You know 'Du' and 'Sie', right? Usually we use 'Du' on the internet, so I use only 'Du'-forms here. If you like to know the 'Sie'-form, let me know. :)

    Rachel, you meant...
"Aber ich kann mich an nichts erinnern."
    and
"Ich habe all mein Deutsch vergessen." (sounds weird for my ears though) so maybe better: "Ich habe alles vergessen."

And my answer... Du wirst es aber Stück für Stück wieder erlangen. Das ist es doch Wert, oder? :)

    >Viele Leute sprechen aber schon gut Deutsch!
    Yep! :D

Das ist doch kein Problem, Kostas. Wir alle genießen doch unsere freien Tage! :)
(That's no problem, Kostas. We all are enjoying our days off!)

    >Oh, danke Frau Lehrerin Sabine und Herr Lehrer Flo!
    Gerne! :D
    (You're welcome.)

I think it's easier to use Sie compared to Du, I guess I'm just really polite.

Alles, aber dann doch nicht alles, Rachel. ;) :D

Yep, I guess 'Sie' is easier (less variations), but it's not used by friends, so there's always some kind of distance when used 'Sie'.

Based on my limited knowledge of German grammar, Du is informal while Sie is formal. So one would ask his friends/classmates Was glaubst du? What do you think?, while his boss/teacher Was glauben Sie? What do you think?.

Also, Ich muss die Deutche Tastatur zu lernen, wenn Ich woll die Deutch Buchstaben schreiben.

Well, I must learn the German keyboard if I want to write the German characters

Question: will we get homework and grades as well? Those who don't do their homework will get a one-hour ban :p

    "Sie...sie...Sie Affe, Sie!" [face_laugh]
    "You...you...you monkey, you!"

That apparently really happened, so I believe the expression is "Insult fail." :D

    Das ist richtig, Kostas.
    (That's right, Kostas.)

    >Also, ich muss die deutsche Tastatur zu lernen, wenn ich deutsche Buchstaben schreiben will/möchte.
    Oder
Nun ja, nun sollte ich mich an die deutsche Tastatur gewöhnen, wenn ich die deutschen Buchstaben (be)nutzen möchte.

Das können wir gerne machen, if you really want! [face_devil]
(We can do that, if you really want!)

German keyboards are evil when you want to write a quick email and find out all of your z and ys are switched around. :(

Und Ich bin ein chaotisch neutraler untotter (demi-draco-lich oder beholder demi-lich). [face_skull]

    Kann ich verstehen, Rachel. :)

Kostas, was willst Du damit ausdrücken? Übersetzt Du bitte einmal ins Englische? Danke. :)

And how about homework and one-hour-bans? [face_mischief]

    Entschuldigung Frau Lehrerinen. :(

What I wanted to say is that I do not like modal verbs. I should study more.

As for the next sentence it reads: I am a chaotic neutral undead (demi-draco-lich or beholder-demi-lich).

You do know about D&D , no?

PLease, do not ban me! :(
    I promise I'll study moer! [face_liarliar]

Don't worry, I won't ban you. You have to sign up for homework lessons and the included one-hour bans. ;)

    >Lehrerinen

Either 'Lehrerinnen' (plural) or 'Lehrerin' (singular) - both for females of course. For males it would be 'Lehrer' (singular and plural). :)

You mean those words like kann, darf, wollen, etc? Yeah, those can be tricky, but we can work on it. :)

    An alle!
    (At all!)

    Was macht Ihr gerade?
(What are you doing right now?)

Edit: White color and black highlight doesn't make much sense for blacking out, right? :p

    I'm reading the forums!

Und....dass ist interessant. Ich kan ein wenig "written" (wie sagt man dass auf Deutsch?) Nynorsk verstehen!

    >Ich lese die Foren!

Sometimes plural is a bit complicated. Normally you would be right with the additional 's', but in this case it's 'Foren'. You could you use 'Board' or 'Boards' instead. That's a bit more simple. :)

    >Und....das ist interessant. Ich kann ein wenig geschriebenes Nynorsk verstehen!

    Das ist ja cool! :D

Welche Boards liest Du denn meistens? Wo hältst Du Dich meistens auf? :)
(That's cool! Which boards are you reading the most? Where are you mostly?)

I wish to say 'I'm waiting for my mobile's backup to complete'
I checked the dictionary and the translation for wait is warten. Is this the right word?

If so, then Ich warte mein handys backup fertig/beenden/vollenden

So, which of the three verbs would fit the meaning?

Ja, 'warten' ist das richtige Wort. :)
(Yes, 'warten' is the right word.)

Ich warte darauf, dass das Backup von meinem Handy fertig wird.

Backup von einem Handy? Was verstehst Du darunter? Was ist das? :)
(Backup of a mobile? What is that?)

    Hallo Mister! :)
Wie lange ist es denn schon her?
(How long ago is it (learning German) already?)

You mean the translation for 'wrong'? That's 'falsch'. :)

Hmmmhh. That's too difficult to answer in German. :( I'll give the answer in English and I'll try to answer in German later or tomorrow. :)

All nokia mobile phones provide software to enable the user to backup the phone contents to pc.

And it seems I forgot the capitalisation of German nouns.

Also, Sabine, hast du gegangen in/im Copenhagen?
So, Sabine, did you go to Copenhagen?

Is there multiple translation for 'wrong'?

I was learning it almost five years ago. And now I can barely remember any of it.

I say, I say, you guys do a brilliant job here! =D=

Actually you are better than my Dutch students.

Ihr seid besser als meine niederländischen Schüler.

You also do a great job here, Obi_one_and_only. Let me give you a tip that I give to those frustrated Dutch kiddos always.

Verbs that have to do with movement are used with a form of "sein". Never with a form of "haben".

    Examples: Ich bin gegangen
    Ich bin geschwommen
    Ich bin gelaufen
    Ich bin gefahren...

Also the ones expressing a change from one state to another, but it's easier to just remember that it's the moving verbs that use sein.

    So was mache ich?

Ich sitze hier und soll bald schlafen. Der Zug von Stockholm war drei Stunden verspätet, so ich bin erst am 02.00 Uhr nach Hause gekommen. :( Ich bin müde, und ich will nicht zur Arbeit morgen.

What do I do? I sit here and should go to sleep zoon. The train from Stockholm was delayed three hours, so I didn't arrive at home until 2 am. I'm tired, and I don't want to go to work tomorrow.
