Cozmic - have you booked your coach? We could possibly pick you up at the coach station if you give us a time and, if possible, where your coach gets in at - with postcode if provided or I'll look it up.

Armouries is very well sign posted (look out for the brown tourist signs). Its near the brewery too - theyre all in the same area.

The car park if I remember rightly is one level - I dont think multi storey???? Its right next to the armouries.

 

last time I was there the open car park was a building site & the only parking was in the multi storey next to the Armouries - however the building work may of finished by now.

 

Booked my train now. As I'll be sleeping there Friday night, I can if need be meet people arriving Sat morning so that people don't get too lost. Will just have to visit tourist info first so I don't get too lost

Hey everyone - I don't have net access back - my computer is still kaput. (PSU I think - I'm trying to sort it out but I bought one off ebay and it got sent to my old address then sent back so I'm now awaiting it arriving again - *Sigh*) Plus I've just finished moving house AGAIN (twice within a month) but I'm settled pretty much now so should all be ok I'm accessing this via work even though I'm not really sposed to but as October is here I need to get final numbers to book the curry place. Can everyone reconfirm that they are coming in the next day or so, and I'll count and book a table. Plus - can you confirm time for meeting at Royal Armouries? I'd help with all the directions etc but I've never been there before! Plus I live in Halifax now

Yes, I'd say 12pm by the time we get there, park up and the Jedi's get changed!
For info re parking- When I was there a couple of months ago, there was only the multi-storey car park in use next to the Armouries, as there was a lot of building work going on.

 

Shall I book a table for 8 people (got 7 so far on the list) for 8pm?

Personally I'd say go for 6 or 7pm, as people still have far to travel back to their areas after....
