That's it. That's it. Star Wars is ruined. Dead, gone. I give up on the EU entirely, I'll never read another Star Wars comic, novel or article as long as I live. You've lost me.

And, by extension, you've also raped and ruined by childhood. And killed my inner child. I'll be a bitter, crotchety and prematurely old man the rest of my unhappy life.

Even though I havent picked up a comic book in years Im really looking forward to this new series. It will be strange reading a monthly again but it will be well worth it if the series is as good as anticipated.

Seriously I think a Sith's name needs more...umph, I suppose. Fudd isn't a name that inspires dread or even fear (in fact if anyone has ever read DarthHolliday's EU paraodies this sounds like one of his names).

I certainly don't think its a name that will destroy SW , but for me its an awful name.

I still want to read this series and enjoy the story you're going to weave John (and Jan of course ).


NB. Any UK EU fans know of anywhere I'd be able to pick up the first comic?

A lot different to your usual Twilight-type covers, Jan. Looks more 3D, as the TOTJ covers were. Aside from the . . . staring . . . has an atmosphere.

 

Its sucks that the jedi have been wiped out AGAIN in less that 200 years...all lukes hard work, and not only does the order have to be re-rebuilt but his family is down to [1] !!! Thats even worse than in lukes day! At least he had Leia.

And the wording on that summary seemed pretty loced in...so i doubt there are ANY other heirs, ie. Solos, Ka's (thats IS allana's last name right?).

But seriously I feel awkward reading about luke and co. now, cuz in my head im just thinking its all for not, your gonna be wiped out AGAIN.

Doesnt matter "last of the jedi" implies that are just a few or at best less than half of what you would normaly deem an order, or else it would be termed "seeking to destroy the jedi order."
