I tried both using the format bar highlight and typing it in manually. Neither seems to work for me. I guess that computers must sense that at heart, I'm a technophobe. :p

Doncha hate it when DRL gets in the way of the important stuff? [face_frustrated] [:D]

Your spoiler tags showed up in the quote and they're in correctly - I don't know why it isn't working in your post. That's so weird.

Re: Kol being the head of the Order - Actually, the very first thing that drew me into this story was the fact that, a century later, the Skywalker name was still prominent among the Jedi. (And a red-headed one, to boot. ;) ) For Anakin/Padme and Luke/Mara to have made all the sacrifices that they made for their children and to preserve/rebuild the Jedi, it would have been a terrible shame, IMHO, for their name to have died out and/or NOT be leading the Order. I imagine Kol could be the leader and still do plenty of field work. He wouldn't have built his relationship with the YV if he wasn't a hands-on type of guy.

[hl=black]It'd be interesting to find out why his marriage to Morrigan was a secret. Maybe the post-LotF era Jedi go back to the No Marriage rule? Or maybe it was something to do with his status or her job? [/hl]

Things that make you go "Hmmm..." [face_thinking]

For anyone getting geared up for the start of Vector, there's a [link=http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=92159514&blogID=346217141]PREVIEW[/link] up. Very cool.

*strolls into thread, Legacy #18 in hand, whistling triumphantly*

I haven't read in yet, but I have it, so I feel better. My store didn't have 0 1/2 though, sadly.

And I am so excited about Vector, but I feel like I need to catch up with KOTOR first. I'm like, 12 issues behind. *pouts*

... Okay, yeah, that Vector Preview is freaking sweet! I'll leave my comments HTR just in case.

[hl=black]The vision. And "It's happening now...". *shivers* So awesome! I can't wait!

And did that first panel remind anyone else of the Heroes eclipse a little bit? [/hl]

Yeah, I raided my LCS this week and got the trades of KotOR 3 and Dark Times and all the monthlies to get caught up.

I know! Girl, I geeked-OUT the first time I saw that pic of Vader, Luke and Cade all on the same page. :D [hl=black]And Cade ?talking to? Zayne ? shweet![/hl]

    I?m not familiar with Heroes.

Has anyone else read 18 yet? Thoughts? I promise I?m not trying to spam the thread. [face_blush]

Oh, and [link=http://boards.theforce.net/literature/b10003/p1]check out the banner in Lit.[/link] [face_love]

Those are out? I was thinking from the Dark Horse site that I'd have to wait til the 23rd. Must go check the store...

And OMG, that banner is amazing!

EDIT: Back from store with TPBs in hand.

You never know where I might pop up. :p I was about to ask if you had been in Lit and seen the new banner. [face_laugh]

I'm still waiting on my KOTOR 3 and Dark Times trades. [face_frustrated] Books-a-Million finally shipped them Saturday since the local store is barely carrying anything over than Marvel. I guess I'll order Shards from TFAW. I've had better success in getting orders from them in a timely manner.

I've read Legacy #18... and it's awesome! By the way, I also saw the preview of Vector. [hl=black]The panels are awesome as well!! Cade, Luke, Vader, and Zayne... boy, I can't wait till' it comes out! [/hl]

You know what it reminds me of... whenever I look at them together, it kinda reminds me of South Park. I never watched the show, but I've heard about it. Here's how it reminds me...

    [hl=black]Cade Skywalker- Eric Cartman
    Luke Skywalker- Stanley "Stan" Marsh
    Zayne Carrick- Kyle Broflovski
    Darth Vader- Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick[/hl]

Yeah... that's my "point of view"... :D

I just got this today and it's just wow. The end bit was great, [hl=orange]even though Cade stabs Talon[/hl]. I'm really looking forward to the next issue.

This is just me being fussy, but can everyone include the colour tag when when highlighting spoilers? The text colour isn't always black.

But on the plus side, Kotor and Dark Times are still due tomorrow as far as I know, so you can get started on Vector while you wait. (Sweet!)

Looking at it there doesn't seem to be much of a pattern at all.

I've been thinking about getting Dark Times, how good is it?

I love Dark Times. What with all the delays in the first issues it took me awhile to get into it, but after reading it all through again in the TPB and especially since the new Parallels arc, it's rocketed to the top of my "must read" list. And the art is phenomenal.

I've only read Vol. 1 of Dark Times so far. I enjoyed it, but dang, it was depressing! And rather disturbing once or twice. (I mean - EWW! :(:_| )

I'd recommend it, though. The story moves at a nice pace, I really like the cast of characters, the art is beautiful, and something about the present-tense narration gives it a classic serial drama feel. It's good stuff. [face_peace]

Obligatory fangirly comment: And Dass Jennir rox. He's got that whole Qui-Gon-esque hippie/maverick Jedi I-will-do-what-I-must thing going on. [face_love]

*stumbles into thread* I finally picked up the courage to finally go and read those darn Legacy comics that everyone seems to love... :p Just finished reading Broken yesterday and all I can say is WOW! It's been awhile since I've been that rivetted to the pages of a Star Wars book.... I loved it! [face_love] I'm addicted [face_blush]

I figured there would be no better place to express my joy at this new find than here! :D *scampers off to find more*

Hello, all! :D Like Myriad, I've just gotten into Legacy. I blame Trace. :p Anyway, aside from issue #13, which I have yet to find, I'm all caught up and eagerly awaiting #19. Wednesday, you say? Fortunately I have a comic store nearby, and they were very kind to the comics n00b when I wandered in looking for Legacy back issues. I foresee becoming very familiar with that store. :p

Myriad! Gabri! Welcome, welcome! :D Pull up some chairs and make yourselves at home.[:D]

Feels good, don?t it? [face_mischief] My husband thought I had lost my kriffin' mind when I stood up and cheered while reading Broken. But when he finally read it a few months ago, he understood. ;)

That?s great! (And exactly what I did last summer, LOL.) Were you the only girl there? I am always the only girl in the comic shop. Are we rare or just that cool?

    We're both, babe.

Actually, there was a girl behind the counter! :D Other than her and my sister, who I'd dragged in with me for moral support, I think it was all guys. I can't be entirely sure; I was very distracted by their tempting display of geek t-shirts. [face_hypnotized] But they were extremely friendly and helpful and chatted about Legacy and other SW comics with me, so now I won't be nervous going in on Wednesday for #19. :D
