Wonder how long it picks up after the war.
I hope it goes for a KOTOR comics style of wacky misadventures, while important stuff goes on in the back ground.
Still, this turn of events is most interesting. We shall see what comes of it.
A female lead!
A Solo lead!
A Mon Calamari!
Sidenote: I'm liking the Mass Effect vibe I'm getting from her outfit.
my new favourite theory sticking to traditions hehe
March can't come soon enough!
I'd personally be fine for Ania to be a Force sensitive, as long as it remains latent for a good portion of the story arc. Nothing wrong with a good old fashioned "slowly discover you have freaky powers" story. I'd prefer she stick with the blaster for most of it, though.
Also, this comes out much sooner than expected... if I want to jump on this series with the rest of you, I'm gonna have to get through the later Bantam era, the NJO, and Legacy in just a few months... then again, I can always wait for the first arc to be concluded.
so with all specultion running wild... and someone already mentioning C3PO, Lowie and Waroo as potential cameos...
will C3PO and R2 finally reunite in Legacy?
will the Falcon survive the Sequels and be Anias? though outdated and rebuild/reconfigured a lot I guess to be up to date
will this new Legacy series deal with Abeloth now that due to Sequels the other generations got not really a chance for that?
Ania Solo needs to team up with Lowbacca or Waroo please!
ps: @ all those Fel fans: I want Fels descendet not of Jaina but of Wyn Fel too who got no Soloblood but pure Fel awesomeness! Wyn Fel needn't be forgotten!
and now the shocker: WHAT if Ania Solo is descended from Anja Gallandro's shortlived loveaffair with Jacen or Anakin Solo as per YJK books? nah I hope not
I'm can't wait for this one.
And people are too hung up on a name.
A list of possibilities for the ancestry of Ania:
* The Fel line, Ania didn't like being a part of the Imperial family, and decided to leave Bastion under a name that represent Freedom in her mind (The Nat Rawk complex)
* The Djo-Solo line, due to the matrilineal customs of the Hapan, the family name of the Queens was perpetuated instead of those of their consorts
* Jacen Solo and Danni Quee unknowingly conceived a child before the departure of Quee for Zonama Sekot ))
* I don't know, feel free to add other possibilities ....
I feel like Danni would've figured it out.
Well Zonama Sekot might be a good candidate for Floating Planet
A thought just occured to me. There isn't any reason to assume that the Skywalker & Solo clans stayed so close over the subsequent generations. With each generation, the original connection between Luke & Leia growing farther apart. Kids grow up and have kids, who subsequently get married and expand their families with those of their spouses.
It might be that Ania Solo and Cade Skywalker might not even know each other.
I hope to god they don't.
Well maybe she is a "Solo" but not the "Solo" we know from the movies. Maybe her mother just married a Corellian whose surname was "Solo"
If the big twist of the series ended up being that she's not really a Solo descendant, I would immediately buy ten copies of every issue.
well.. Ania and Cade hooking up? NEVER
and she is THE Solo... the intel we have so far said so even, greatgreat"whatevermanygreats"granddaughter of Han and Leia.. so that is fact
The same intel that went from "great" to "great-great" in about a week?
How do we know that denotes a degree of relation? Perhaps they're just telling us how awesome she is?
Hey, did you hear about that really great great grand-daughter of the Solos?
I wish it wasn't.
"KINSLAYER? WE'RE SIXTH COUSINS, DAMMIT CK II!"
it did not change the direct relation to the Solos, only the distance
So I guess it should be Volume 2 of the Legacy of the Prisoner of the Floating Planet then?
I hear "The Floating Planet" was an old nickname for Azkaban.
When I heard first "floating planet" I thought of Dac initially.. though more literally it could be Mortis, floating inside a Tho Yor
No, no, the twist should be: "Cade, you know how I said we needed a Skywalker? Well, yeah, because of that, I kind of lied a little... you're not really a Skywalker, we just needed to make Krayt scared."
