Legacy of the Force Questions

What is known so far about the LOTF series? What is the series going to be about and how far after the Dark Nest Trilogy is it set. The search function doesn't seem to be working for the boards.

 

The names of the first two books are Bloodlines and Betrayal.
Not sure which is the first.
Karen Traviss, Troy Denning and Aaron Allston are writing the 9 book series.

First publication will be Allston's Betrayal, next April, I believe.

With Allston beginning the series I had not expected Zahn or Luceno quality, but Denning?s hand in the books should help that along. However I fear that with the recent insights on Karen?s views on the galaxy we will be throw a few minimalist numbers which will start a few arguments.

Beyond that however it would seem they have finally decided to turn Luke into a real Jedi Master and turn the children under his charge into a real Jedi Order.

It should be a good series of books.

 

That was something that worried me, too. Allston's stuff has always been almost too light for me... I enjoy it, but not in the way I want to enjoy Legacy. But then, we've never had him do this kind of series either...

As for Karen and her alleged minimalist tendencies, I don't know how much of that is her and how much of it is her kind of defending the party line regardless of her own personal opinion on the matter.
