Solid issue, but too slow an arc. Which bums me, as this fantastic series needed more time.

Finally people are realizing this is a ****ing great series totally worthy of the title Legacy....

and maybe even better than Volume II, dare I say it?

I guess Issue 18 is the last chapter of Legends. Hope its a good ending!

 

Going to be interesting to see them wrap everything up in 4 or so more comics.

 

well they will probably just wrap up their own story. I don't think its going to be some grand-boom or explosive closing to the Star Wars Legends.

It may be rushed and condensed like Legacy War and apparently DOTJ Force Wars was.

 

Well it sounds like we are getting a massive Sith army. How the heck are we going to wrap that up successfully?
I haven't read the latest arc of DOTJ so I'll have to wait and see how that went.

 

I swear I am going to be so mad if its a damn cliffhanger that will never be resolved. I thought Stradley told his writers to be "prepared to write stories with ends in sight"due to the nervousness caused by the disney acquisition.

But as for the sith army. It looks awesome that we are kinda going into legacy volume I territory, but while it would be nice to finish off the baddies of Volume I once and for all, I hardly think there is enough space to give it justice.

Heres hoping for a good ending, but not one that tries to cram "too much in". Unless people don't mind one sith cameos only for them to be blown up in the next panel.

 

I will too. I was looking forward to this series. This is going to be crazy. I'm looking forward to it. Hoping for the best.
If not completed I hope they give us plot point details of what would have been.

 

Honestly I feel like theres no way the ending will be a cliffhanger. Dark Horse isn't that stupid.

Dawn of the Jedi Force War was written before it was confirmed, with John and Jan (naively optimistic) hoping to pen at least one more arc I bet.

But Legacy Vol 2 was announced either around or after the acquisition. Since then DH has shifted to try to accompany this uncertainty. We got lots of OT esque stories and a beginning (DOTJ) and an end (Legacy II).

I just can't see DH giving the authors of Legacy II the notion of "oh yeah write a cliffhanger. We're definitely getting the license again"

 

I really like the planet from this arc, really feels 'alien'. Also hope things work out well for Ania, who ever she is.

Read the issue today. Man that was a cool issue. Glass rain? Where do they come up with this stuff? So excited for the last issue of this arc. The Legacy comics rock.

 

Won't have the trade until end of August but I love the concept of a planet where it rains glass!
